The C & O trail runs from WV to DC. The trails are wide enough people can ride horses to work. I've been riding horses since 1967 cross country before everything was developed. I'd get home from school and ride over 30 miles visting friends, riding through parks, etc. I alway's rode bareback so we could swim in the lakes. There's too much development and not enough green.
