What you should know about oil dependency but haven't been told!

While we all can appreciate interest in alternative energy and our own pet rock, it seems that there are a few questions that may have been failed to be asked during this process that seem important. Is it that we think that just because we have seen the price of oil seasonally jump every year what seems like forev… Continue

1st Anniversary of the Pickens Plan Announcement

While there are certainly many activities and specific events taking place throughout the nation all year long (many now related to energy issues), perhaps we all should take a moment on July 8th to celebrate the creation of this unifying project, called the Pickens Plan by it's founder. Without this visionary's efforts, we still would be languishing in 1970's wishful thinking. So make sure that on this date you send a heartfelt thanks to Mr. Pickens for beginning this road to energy freedom, th… Continue

Recent Poll Indicates Most Likely Energy Solution

In a recent poll on the LinkedIn professional contact website, ENERGY POLL, an overwhelming percentage of respondants to the question, " What do you believe is the most likely alternative energy solution??", Solar Energy has the highest confidence ranking with biofuels next. This is indeed encouraging, considering the fact the recent vote in Congress basically is promoting Wind as their choice. What strikes me as particuliarly dist… Continue

Stimulus Response from Governor Crist

February 11, 2009 Dear Friend, Over the last two years Florida has taken prudent steps to cut taxes for our people and balance our budget in these increasingly difficult times. These are historic, challenging times, for our nation and our state. Here in Florida, we have been making tough decisions in response to our rising unem… Continue

We have to choose not only the initial path but also the final direction our nation will ultimately be committed to for the next generation. So it is extremely important to consider the best short term alternatives to get America on the right tra… Continue
