Earth Day Would Be "A Good Time to Plant a Tree"

Say what you will about the Pickens Plan, but it's something, and it's easier to start from something than nothing. As T. Boone Pickens has said "If you're going to plant a tree, the best time to plant it is 20 years ago. If you didn't do that, the second best time is now." This Wednesday is Earth Day, and now would be a good time to plant that metaphorical tree. Get involved in your community, join an online discussion, or start one up at your workplace. My message to President and Congressional Representatives

Here's the letter I sent out supporting the Pickens Plan. As you can tell I borrowed bits from other form letters and Pickens Plan talking points, and also included a plug for Building America's Future, a good coalition partner to get the ball rolling. Feel free to cut and paste what you like and send it to your elected officials. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ April 1, 2009 [recipient address was inserted here] Dear [recipient… Continue
