Why 2009 will not be as bad as predicted!

I am of the opinion that a major factor in the downturn of our economy was the excessive cost of gasoline and diesel (see my discussion in "ENERGY PARTY" titled "The cost of transportation in the US...") and because of this the excessive cost of transporting EVERYTHING in the US. Our economy in the US depends upon cheap energy. 70% of all oil consumed by the US is devoted to transportation... the moving of goods, services, people... essentially TRANSPORTING our GNP, Gross National Product (or t… Continue

Generic windmill...

When I first started on my venture, my focus was to make a 'generic windmill'. What I mean by that is a ridiculously simple to manufacture, yet bulletproof strong design. There are enormous advantages to Phase 1 & Phase 2 designs such as ground level servicing. When, not if a generator fails(they all will) with these machines, it takes an hour to swap the generator and it's up again. If anyone has ever seen a traditional windmills' generator get swapped out (or main bearings), it is an enorm… Continue

How it works, why it works and a challenge...

After watching a program like Frontline this evening, I have a renewed spirit to present the case of why a new design of windmill MUST be found. Here's why: 1) 52% of all electricity in the US is produced from coal. 2) 9 1/2 TONS of coal is consumed by every household in America (average household, overall EVERY household). 3) There are 600 coal fired power plants in the US. These are stats presented on Frontline this evening, so I am assuming they are factual. Here are some things I gleaned f… Continue

Modular windmill?

The exciting prospect of this design is it's flexibility...both with the height as well as the ground footprint. It is modular in height in 12ft increments from as small as 24ft (bottom box is enclosed generator room) and will soon be capable of up to 144ft (plus connection spacing) in height. The aileron system is the gold mine, as every 10ft of width increases the output of the rotor 300%!!! It is in prototype stage and it is not exactly known yet how wide the ailerons can be before power inc… Continue

Invention without support...

Hello, my name is Adam, I am developing a very promising design of vertical windmill, there are pics on my page. The most incredible experience for me was to share this with EVERY SINGLE POLITICIAN in WI and IL with only the response of "Looks good young man, you keep it up"...literally. I delivered photos & diagrams with no response. I have dedicated my life and sanity to this project because I believe it has honest potential. The concepts are sound and based off this fact: A 30ft diameter… Continue
