"Romeo and Juliet"presents the history of the Romeo and Juliet Windmill, designed, by
Frank Lloyd Wright, as an education symbol for the Hillside Home School, run by his aunts, in the Spring Green, Wisconsin valley, where he was born, raised and knew every contour of the land. It is the
landmark to which his gaze was directed on awakening, visible from his bedroom at Taliesin, the home he built in 1911 on his family's farmland. The history is presented by
Bruce Brooks Pfeiffer, director of the
Frank Lloyd Wright Archives:

You can see videos about the reconstruction of Frank Lloyd Wright's windmill "Romeo and Juliet" at
www.LandMarkTv.com, specifically,
here. The first video is
Reconstructing Romeo & Juliet - Frank Lloyd Wright Windmill. The reply video,
"Romeo and Juliet" the history of a windmill is the best tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright I have ever heard, lovingly rendered, by Bruce Brooks Pfeiffer, director of the Frank Lloyd Wright Archives. It made me think of the
Spiralairfoil Wind Turbine designed by PickensPlan member
DB Parker. It's fine to support the arts but it's even better when the arts support you with power to spare!
The same videos are also posted in the
www.WLAB.com Wind Lab Community forum
(here) and also in the
