Here is a little history of natural gas drilling in an area we are currently planning to drill, compliments of our geologist.

Each lease (above) is located in north-central West Virginia. The petroleum industry dates back to the 1800s in the Appalachian Basin, the
oldest petroleum producing area in the world. Until 1924 West Virginia was the largest natural gas producing state in the US. Currently, it is the fourteenth largest natural gas producer in the United States and is the largest gas producing state east of the Mississippi River.
West Virginia ranks second in the total number of producing natural gas wells and has estimated reserves of 4.51 trillion cubic feet of gas. Between 2005 and 2007, West Virginia oil and gas operators have drilled almost
7,250 wells with a total investment of
$2.084 billion. Each lease identified in this program is in an area of active oil and gas drilling and production (see West Virginia Oil and Gas Fields Map, Figure 1 above).
See? We have always had the ability to produce our own natural gas to everyone's benefit.
Take Care,
Christiane
