When this is over . . . .

will we have a president who will embrace change and help us rid ourselves of our dependence on foreign oil? Will we have a president who will try to pay off our debts and not be beholden to foreign countries for our credit? Will we have a president who will proactively get behind all these alternative energies and help them thrive? I am thoroughly terrified that McCain will win this election, and if he does there will probably never be another one in our lifetimes. We will all be at the mercy of Big Business, Foreign debt, and still dependent on foreign oil. Someone please assure me that this won't happen. Please tell me that we will rid ourselves of Republican rule. Please tell me it will all be ok and we will be on the road to a better America. Please reassure me so I don't have nightmares about living in a police state. Please reassure me that we are going to go green and clean up our country, and help others clean up theirs.
