Pickens Chat Post Debate
Hey all, Mr. TB Pickens is going to hold a post debate chat. If your interested in getting involved and I do encourage you to go here and RSVP.

The campaigns have started to degenerated into a mud fest officially as of today. It is sad. For most of the the time up to this point, the rhetoric has been semi-intelligent. I would like to say that we have had a Lincoln-Douglas level of discussion of the issues but I can't. It has been fairly informative but through the filter of the media, well it has been sound bites. When listening to the stump speeches themselves, they have been covering the topics of the day.
Now however, the mud is flying and I do not expect any substance out of them, thus I think our cause of energy independence may be lost for mindless lies and accusations. Finger pointing and half truths. I will watch them on the tele Tuesday night but I do not think there will be anything earth shattering out of them at this late date. It is sad but we have all seen these things in the past.
If you are going to watch and have post debate time, log in and try and get in on the discussion. Hopefully it will be a lively and informative discussion. Maybe, just maybe TB Pickens will hear the excitement we all have and he will be able to redirect the 2 majors back on topic. Maybe we can redirect the conversation. TBP has a bit of pull in the big picture and just maybe if we all yell together, with his help, we can make energy the topic that will turn the election.

I have just hit the wrong key on my keyboard here, but as I was saying, "most recently in four proposals to the Google Corporation competition for best ideas of this decade, I have tried again to disclose what I know about ENERGY after nearly forty years thinking about aerodynamics then energy. Not wanting to sell anything, but t rather to GIVE the billins of dollar economic benefits to the country through any and all who will come alongside m, e I have been rebuffed by all including until now by PickensPlan people. Does noone want to know and follow up on the simple truth about Energy. When understandng it, the utilization of it with thoudands of inventive devices will be a snap. It's all in readily readable literature. Google Einstein about it then hopefuly someone will get back to me.

Conrad,
I do not believe you are being political. You are simply stating the record which is what we must do so we can make clear choices on energy policy. These are the discussions we need to have. If you are insistent on voting these issues first, as I am, this is the only way to get to the right choice.

Comment by Conrad Watson on October 7, 2008 at 6:49am - Only throught the auspices of the bailout bill did the great Senator McCain vote in favor of the production tax credit; one of the most if not the most critical means of acheiving energy independence. What is the issue here? Boone says he's unbiased. How about McCain going 8 and 0 on voting against the tax credit? How about the 23 oil lobbyists on his campaign staff. What does he mention besides drilling and nuclear in his energy policy? Why does the army have to even listen to the debate? All you have to read are the voting records of the two candidates and their policies on their websites. What kind of a game is Boone playing with all of us? Don't tell me I'm being political. I'm presenting clear cut facts. Having been burned in the S&L debacle of the late eighties I witnessed first hand the doings of John McCain. For a true flavor of his judgement and character go to Youtube and look at the video of the Keating 5.
