It was clear that Obama is willing to debate off shore drilling and many other critical issues but is not now going to reveal his position. He is hiding his agenda behind rhetoric or to say it another way, the old double cross is headed our way.

As I heard it, McCain was the only one to mention natural gas. His level of commitment seems far in advance of Obama, who promises only a debate. Obama committed to nothing on the energy front. McCain seems to have formed a plan that includes wind and nat. gas which includes CNG by inference.

Yes! And with that it's time to send my nightly letters to my state leglislators and the Gov.

And nat gas is currently distributed nearly everywhere and adding additional supplies that have already been developed would take only months in significant locations. With conversion kits or some imported CNG powered cars (GM cars currently manufactured in Brazil and Argentina), we could begin snubbing the middle east. Let Washington either catch up or not. Let American ingenuity solve Washington's and now our energy mess.

I also noticed that Omama never mentioned natural gas, he has also said previously that he is totally against nuclear power. I think McCain is on the right track, and it doesn't take ten years to get oil flowing either. My son in law works on oil drills in Ohio and claims it only takes about 1 to 2 years tops.
