Want to win something?

Here's your chance!

We are having an end of the year contest and the prize is an autographed copy of T.Boone's book, “The First Billion is the Hardest”.

There are nearly 1.5 million members here on Push and we want to spread Pickens Plan awareness to our other New Energy Army divisions - Facebook and Twitter. So to help in this effort we'll be giving away four signed copies of Boone's book to new Facebook and Twitter Army recruits.

Here's what you need to do to qualifying for the contest.

Start following Pickens Plan on Twitter and/or become a fan of the Pickens Plan Facebook Page.

You'll need to do this by midnight December 17th and yes, signing up for both will double your chances of winning one of the four signed books. The winners will be chosen at random on December 18th.

You can join Pickens Plan on Twitter here and join Pickens Plan on Facebook here

Best of luck and enjoy the rest of 2008!

As history shows us a nations economy cannot, no will not, survive on foreign dependency for energy and manufacturing. We must... rethink/redevelop our infrastructure to support our domestic energy and manufacturing capabilities. As we continue to outsource our most basic needs we are becoming a nation at risk, in danger of become a people without the ability to support or protect itself. America is quickly becoming a nation with outsourced technology, outsourced energy, outsourced manufacturing and outsourced defense. What’s left I wonder? The world balance of power is ever changing and about to tip out of our favor. To remain great we must be creative by embracing every alternative, we must redevelop the ability to support ourselves. If we stand and work together there is nothing we cannot accomplish. Remember “United We Stand Divided We Fall”
