Coastal Green Energy is a Deer Isle Maine-based company. With one projected wind power project underway and another right behind. Owners Ricky Spofford and James Paterson are working to harness energy that will not only benefit the environment but give back to the communities. We started Coastal Green Energy hoping to help our state with a renewable energy source and creating more jobs. James and I have been funding this project ourselves up until this point.
