Governor Graves - Finds himself vested deeply in the Governors' Ethanol Coalition. He has made so many commitments that it would gravely hurt his future, if he stood up and supported Mr. Pickens openly.
I agree that, " calling people's patriotism into question, " is not in anyone's best interest.
It is my belief that the large scale use of Corn for Ethanol is becoming obsolete. Even Algae has a better return, using the, " Energy In VS Energy Out Formula. " I won't even go into the unexpected increased costs for food made from corn.
Now my Point for this Reply
In truth the infrastructure is in place to use NG. Most every business and home has NG piped directly to it.
A licensed plumber could install a refueling station for each business and home, easily, with out that much expense and safety training.
Not all is lost in the monies spent toward creating the infrastructure to distribute Ethanol. Change the holding vessels to ones that would safely handle Hydrogen and or LNG and everyone can be happy.
Use Wind Power and Solar Systems to provide the power to run the operations and we are well on our way to Energy Independence.
Just my Opinion !
