Forget why, lets fight for what makes sense

If you have read any of the heated discussions in the forums, you can see not everyone agrees with history. That seems to be a common problem these days -- people interpret history to meet their current desires. The truth is that regardless of the reason for wanting to get off foreign oil, all sides want to do just that. The problem comes when people get stuck on the why instead of the solution. It doesn't matter if you believe in global warming and want to reduce the burning of foreign oil in favor of clean energy or think global warming is a liberal farce and want off our foreign oil dependency to make the country stronger and everything cheaper. The important thing to focus on is the desire to get off foreign oil and onto clean, renewable energy. Democrats, Republicans and Independents all need to work together and tell the people in Washington who forgot we exist that we need an energy plan that gets us off that dreaded foreign oil. We want clean, renewable, independent energy that can help make the country stronger and goods less expensive for US. Hmmmm, you mean we can all get what we want? Contact your representatives and bring them onboard in the creation of a new energy plan for the country.
