Wind Farms- Love at first sight

I remember the first time I saw a wind farm and how it gave me goose bumps. I was driving into California for the very first time and looked up and there they were. I don’t even remember what part of the state I was in, but do remember how beautiful the scene looked.

The next time the magnificent panorama of a wind farm appeared in the horizon was over 10 years later. We were driving home from MN and shortly after getting into Iowa, we passed them for miles. I thought they looked like noble soldiers guarding the nation. Since then I have seen other wind farms.

A couple of years ago I spent hours online researching wind farms alternative energy sources and the pros and cons. I promise myself that if I ever had an opportunity to learn more and/or be involved with wind power I would do so. By becoming a member of the PickensPlan.com I am fulfilling that promise.
