Let's hit our Representatives and Senators with this and information like this. It doesn't look like they will pass the energy bill this session. No surprise there. But when they come home for their "well earned vacation" we need to make them work. Information like this can help us make our case.

We can let them know that that we INSIST that they move in this direction. If they do not make a firm commitment, we need to let them know that we will be working to replace them next time they are up for election. If they go along, we need to, even if we do not agree with them or their party, we need to tell them we will go out and help them with their re-election effort.

I know that for some this may sound like heresy. To help a Dem or a Rep in a election, but this is so much more important then any other political issue. There is too much at stake. Only through supporting someone or opposing someone in the next 2 or 3 elections can we clean out the Congress of people who want to hold us back. If they are going to stand in our way they need to be swept aside. If they stand up for us, they deserve our help. Partisan Politics be damned.

I am attempting to gather people in my legislative district to get the "numbers" to "force" a meeting. I hope my congressman will get on board. If he does not then I know what my next action will be. I will then try and meet with my 2 Senators for the same thing. If we all try and move our own individual Legislators then when they all get back to work in DC, there will be a buzz in the halls and they will know what they are up against. I do not believe on line petitions or emails will turn this tide. Both of these are too easy and I feel are dismissed for that reason. I suspect they are flooded with these things. After all, what does it take, 30 seconds to copy and paste a email or sign into a "petition" site? The big coal and oil industry have PAID lobbyist who are there all of the time. We ned to meet in person to make out point.

Remember everyone, we are the roots in the grass. That what it means to be grassroots. We have to feed this movement or it will wither and we will only have a man with a lot of money out there making his new industry. If we help him, then it is as much OUR movement as his. WE will succeed. He needs us as much as we need someone like him to drive home the message and supply the seed money.

T. Boone is a great man for stepping up to the plate. Now we need to stand behind him and push the government to move quickly. They generally do not move quickly but with the money, the vision and the movement, you have a recipe for quick success. That is what we need. Quick success. There is too much at stake to not have quick victory.

The boards have been quiet as of late. Lets research, get fired up and ready for when those government workers come home and start flooding them with our message. Good Luck to all.
