We CAN Do Things Quickly

It is important to be conservative in estimating how long it will take to transform our energy paradigm and energy economy to self-renewing nonpolluting, hazard-free technologies.
It is also important to remember that, when Americans put our minds to it, amazing accomplishments are possible. We converted from a peace-time industry to one that put out enough tanks, airplanes, trucks and warships to win WW II, in literally MONTHS. In the 1960's, when the scientists said it couldn't be done, we sent men to the moon in less than 9 years, and Kelly Johnson and the Lockheed Skunk Works took what is STILL the most advanced aircraft ever made, the SR 71 Blackbird from the drawing board to flying machine in 18 MONTHS, with NO computers, just slide-rules and blackboards!
That is why I believe simple breakthrough technologies like my revolutionary wind-energy conversion systems (see info and images by clicking on my name) could be in production and use in short order with the investment of enough money and brain-power.
By being deployable in heavily-populated areas, where the electricity is needed and electric distribution systems already exist, these technologies could quickly, quietly and without visual intrusion, replace large amounts of the fossil fuels for which we are now mortgaging our country to hostile countries, and with which we are endangering the only known natural life-support system in the Universe.
