End of Week 8/15/08

Among other things, T. Boone had a Town Hall meeting this week in LaMar, CO and he met with Sen. John McCain this morning in Aspen, CO. He is doing his darndest to spread the word and get people behind his plan.

I sent out e-mail invitations to join the plan (again) to half my address book. I stopped at the 'N's. Still only 3 replies. Plumb discouraging.

So today I composed a short letter and e-mailed it to State Senator Ken Salazar. It's a start on the legislative front. I am making the Pickens Plan a daily priority in the sense that I DO something every day to push the plan. I BELIEVE I can make a difference and it is nice to be part of a grassroots organization that is working on an important issue.
