Ted Turner, American Spirit Dancers, Renewable Energy, Cleaner Fuels, what could be better?
Wow! is aobut all I can say after having a great time in Aspen once again, thanx to Chip Commins of American Spirit Productions. Of course we traveled on nothing but the finest American Fuels that cost the least money, including: CNG, H2 and E85.
If you are regularly reading my blog, you may remember in my last post, I talked about how much fuel was used to drive round trip from SL, UT to Sol fest and back. On that trip we used 121.25 g.g.e.'s of fuel and 2 gallons of Biodiesel. Well I do not recomend pouring B100 biodiesel into your gasoline engine's fuel tank. The biodiesel was not all consumed and the remainder blew by the rings and ended up in the crank case. Biodiesel does not belong in your oil. It may be a good cleaner and solvent to clean any gunk and deposits out, as well, provide more lubrication than petroleum DIEsel, but I do not think it is a good engine oil!
Well, at least we did not have to purchase any gasoline! We made it home, but found out that B100 biodiesel may not be recomedable in your gasoline burning engines! So, remember we want you to try this at home, just not like this.
