OPEC Finally Admits Shale a Threat to Their Business. Wall Street Journal.  Senior figures in OPEC initially played down the threat of the shale-oil boom, but in its most recent market report, published Tuesday, OPEC said expected increases in North American oil production would trim another 100,000 barrels a day from the forecast demand for its crude this year, putting it 350,000 barrels a day below its level in 2012.

How disappointing is right.  What kind of business decision is that ...to attach a threat??? One has nothing to do with the other.  Am I wrong when I think that a good or bad business decision should be able to stand alone?  If he feels the wind farms are a bad decision why can't he fight it on it's merits alone? I realize we all see things differently and rightfully so.  Personally when I traveled to the part here in Oklahoma that had 100's of the wind towers blowing ...it was breathtaking.  I'm originally from PA.  What a difference from the dirty smoke stacks that lined the sky with black smoke rolling out filling the blue sky.  And please don't fight me on the plight of the steel mills, I lived it. It had it's time and purpose and our families thrived and also had major sinus issues. I'm only comparing the breath-taking beauty of the wind movement and the blue sky.  I don't think it will hinder his beautiful hotel like he thinks it will.  And it will certainly benefit the earth far more than his hotel will.  I hope they stand their ground and do NOT crater to his threat.
