GREAT DAY! Need to push harder now

The summit was amazing. We have been waiting for that kind of talk for a long time. However, until we can give Harry Reid 60 votes on transmission, smart grids and renewables... it is all still talk. While Boone stirs things up from the center of the storm, we MUST kick up the dust on the perimeter. WE MUST BUILD OUR NUMBERS. The bigger we are, the harder it will be for any politician to find a pocket deep enough to hide in.

Please go to the virtual march page and manually sign up 10 new supporters to the plan. THERE IS NO ONE OUT THERE WHO DOES NOT AGREE WITH THIS, IF YOU JUST ASK THEM. When we are many millions, WE CAN DO THIS! A new day is coming and we are all helping Boone escort it in. BUT we are not done yet.

It is hard to navigate this blog ! - There should be a better explanation some where - about how to make this blog work, better ! what are the 649 winnings about ?? how do you get them ? I wanted to answer the post I got from Kim - but, never saw a place - I could answer anyone - til I got here !
Why can't we pool our resources ? - Could we Have magnetic signs on our cars -and connect - to others that way .... and let others know - how we can have alternative energy cars !! I do not want to fill my car with the blood of our Earth mother - from a foreign country - a foreign country who has the idea that all americans... are infidels and should be killed ! - I know that sounds a little radical - but - if we jump for the moon - we might get some where !

Comment by sosolar on February 26, 2009 at 1:32pm: GO TEAM. Let's emphasize folks freeing their homes and businesses from the grid. While it is good for utilities to be required to produce more green and local fossil energy to an extent, that benefits Wall Street. OK too.
But WE THE PEOPLE here on main street must not continue to purely get energy from the big dogs. Electric cars will tax the grid and people on Main Street need the ability to home grow energy as well. Without balance,
folks actually LOSE on the bottom line in the long run. And it gets taxed and fee'd and sevice charged anon .LOOP closed to the home owner and small business owner all over again. STRESS STAND ALONE BUILDING.(half of CO2 emmissions are from buildings) The ability for EVERYONE to use or sell the green
energy they make should be stated in our CREDO.

The summit was exceptional! It was the most open and honest discussion of renewable energy that I have seen. As John said "You are right, politicians are paying lip service for the moment. Anybody that can lift your wallet, kiss your baby and still ask for your vote needs to be watched very carefully."

Think we are all feeling that warm glow. Richard Perez, sent me his recruiting plan. Going to follow his advice, buy some clip boards, and visit the local colleges. Those trucks Walmart was talking about are only a few miles from here, think I'll take a look at them, and see if they can help with recruiting. My tenants, have sign up sheets and hopefully we will increase those numbers soon. You are right, politicians are paying lip service for the moment.
