US DOE Clean Cities Program Sponsoring CNG Trucking Workshops

I saw the ad for a CNG trucking workshop on the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association website advertising a CNG Trucking event and did a little research. It seems that one of the key sponsors of the event is the US Department of Energy. I went to their website and found more information on the Clean Cities program as well as links to other similar workshops around the country. If you are involved in the trucking industry you may want to attend one of these events to learn more about natural gas trucks in your own area.

You can even start a Clean Cities Coalition in your area. :-)

They have been collaborating with Clean Cities coalitions all over the place to hold not just CNG trucking workshops, but CNG workshops for all kinds of vehicles spanning light and heavy duty vehicles. Our coalition, the East TN Clean Fuels Coalition, cohosted one in Atlanta recently with two coalitions from Georgia. Stephe Yborra of the Clean Vehicle Education Foundation is the lead presenter and IT IS A MUST to attend if you really want to know more about how you put natural gas in use in your fleet.
Here's a link where you can find out more about the planned and past workshops.
