Wind Turbine Technology Disrupter--The "Wind Lens" ---Japanese Copy of Technology I Worked On

Looks like the reverse engineers over in Asia have finally gotten brave enough to come up with a product and market it. See what happens here in the States? We're just so damn generous with our ideas.....Oh well, it is good to see a product that might displace and obsolete nuclear and fossil fuel-based power plants. We don't want to end up imitating "art" (see the movies titled below) now do we?

According to Dr. Jim Hansen of NASA, we've got until 2016 to get the carbon in our atmosphere down to 350 parts per million (or less), or we are going to self-extinct.

With bad decision making being done by our elected officials (and in our name) concerning America's energy policy, it is unlikely we'll be able to meet Dr. Hansen's "carbon deadline." It is best to seek to adapt for as long as you can. Mitigation has been abandoned. We are now in adaptation mode because we waited too long to derive a sustainable energy policy. Feel free to comment on this. Reminds me of Neil Young's song, "Are You Ready for the Country?"

This developement tweek in turbine make up could help offset/justify costs,  and make it viable in more locations.

If you remember, Dr Paul Curto alerted us a long time ago about factual concerns, questioning the planet being able to sustain the mass population.

We all know we waist, and have as a whole made some bad choices in how we treat the ground we live on.

Are we going to allow us to sit in gridlock till the end?

Best; Tom
