Dr. Harvey Bryan: Professor of the ASU College of Design. Harvey Bryan is a specialist in building technology who has written over sixty papers and articles, many of which focus on the interface between technology and the design of ecologically-responsible environments. He has served on the design faculties of MIT, Harvard, and UCLA, where his research received support from numerous public and private sponsors. Dr Bryan has a B.Arch. from ASU, an M.Arch., M.S. and a Ph.D., all from the University of California at Berkeley and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.

Sandy Bahr: Sierra Club Grand Canyon Chapter - Sandy is the Grand Canyon (Arizona) Chapter lobbyist where she is tackling sprawl head on. Sandy, who once helped design subdivisions working for a small civil engineering firm, now leads the fight against the houses that creep farther and farther into the remaining open space, driving up taxes and creating a brown cloud of smog that hovers over her home in downtown Phoenix.

Michael Neary: President, Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association. Michael is the principal of Desert Sun Solar, Inc., which has been involved in a variety of activities in the solar industry for the past fifteen years. Mr. Neary is also the executive director of the Arizona chapter of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and has worked with local solar companies on marketing, product development, and meeting national standards.

Alex Nelson of Arizona Public Interest Research Group. Arizona PIRG takes on powerful interests on behalf of Arizona's citizens, working to win concrete results for our health and our well-being. With a strong network of researchers, advocates, organizers and students across the state. Arizona PIRG is an advocate for the public interest. When consumers are cheated, or our natural environment is threatened, or the voices of ordinary citizens are drowned out by special interest lobbyists, Arizona PIRG speaks up and takes action.

Mick Dalrymple: a.k.a.Green co-founder Mick Dalrymple helped start the Arizona Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and now serves on the national Board of the organization. He created the TV series Build It Green!, which PBS seeks to distribute nationally and organized the first Cinema Verde Sustainable Film Festival as part of the 2006 Green Building Expo in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dalrymple worked with a task force to update the Scottsdale Green Building Program’s residential checklist, which launched in September, 2006. He is a frequent speaker on green building and LEED to citizen groups and professionals.

Jon Findley - Sierra Club, Grand Canyon Chapter. Jon is a technical writer, editior, & Web site consultant. Jon is also a former teacher with degrees in biology & environmental science. Jon is particularly interested in energy use and alternative energy sources and has been working in renewable energy and environmental issues for many years. Jon works with non-profits in promoting renewable energy and the sustainable generation of power.

Keath and I gave a presentation to the Tucson Clean Cities Coalition today. The Coalition has joined the Pickens Plan! Many of the coalition members joined after the meeting. Look for groups that understand the cause, they can help you spread the word!

Everyone, Dave, ..... The bill # 1403 on taxes...will lower taxes on incoming solar businesses wanting to come to Chandler, Arizona and employ Chandler residents installing solar.....So if everyone in the group would kindly contact all of their congressmen and senators and remind them that we elected them to represent all of us in Chandler, Arizona and that by passing this bill to lower taxes on Solar companies, they will have a win win situation.....people employed in Arizona....people in Arizona paying taxes, more people....and a new industry that is leading the way to empowering America.....Tell our leaders to lead the way to a new day....and let them know we are watching them carefully....... By the way, another state is competing for these companies to come to their state...so if our leaders snooze, we will loose....

I think you are right on about BAF doing the conversions for ATT. A good friend here in HOU. with a large shop was approached by the local dealer to do the conversions on about 100 vehicles. They, the dealers, seemed clueless about the technology.I am very interested in hooking up with BAF for thier Hou. market. If we have to do EPA conversions the companies like BAF ,who are set up to do them, are going to have to expand FAST.In order to get people to buy CNG they will need more "certified" vehicular choices than F-150 thru F-450. I know we need to keep environmental guidelines strong, but, the certification process for CNG (both total and bi-fuel) is FAR too expensive, complicated, and time consuming. If we are to get CNG rolling shouldn't we be addressing these rules from the start? I am ready and willing to start making CNG conversions available in my market AND I believe the Texas vehicle inspection guidelines are strong enough to cover the emissions issues the EPA may have.

I visited Congessmen Jeff Flake and John McCains offices yesterday.
Flakes office was very accomadating, McCains office was pretty cool.
I guess we need lot more members to impress on them the urgency of our cause. Please keep recruiting and building those district groups!

Thanks Dave for the input. I have RSVPd to the Virtual March and been sending out my invites. Is it possible to reach the other sources you have mentioned by email? If so, would you please send me the links to send my e-letters to? Also, it may seem like a silly question as well, I am not sure if I have joined "my district" or not. I did get a welcome letter, so am I good to go? Sorry for so many questions and thank you in advance for any help you may lend.
