Keath,
I am interested in knowing if the group will lead by example in Cochise County with a business plan that I am interested in pursuing to create affordable, accessible senior housing combined with the use of solar that will be sold back to the electric company to create long term affordability and energy independence from the oil cartel?

Keith you made the final cut on the website my friend. You are somebody now. All you need is the 1st order to get the ball rolling. I did not even make it off the cutting room floor off the USS Midway.

We build true Zero Energy Lifestyle homes with the latest U.S. Oak Ridge National Lab DBMS report defined "Asymmetrical" ICF system (google that; see Figure 2 type 3 on the Chart 4). It is 246% more energy efficient than a wood/stud wall. Then we add a Geothermal/Solar Radiant energies management system which includes a Fresh Air exchanger instead of a recirculating HVAC unit. Our Technology Demonstrator display home is proposed for a new subdivision that is 100% infrastructure complete and ready for the Zero Energy model-home/sales-office construction. The developers will fund 80% of the total cost of the Technology Demonstrator Display home. We are trying to raise the remaining 20%...about $300K. That is a small "entry fee" to be involved in this $20Mil subdivision project. The developers have two follow-on projects as well, one is a Zero Energy retail/commercial MALL on 7.7 acres. And the other is an entire COMMUNITY with multiple multi-family Townhomes, shopping, services, restaurant, and entertainment structures, an assisted living facility on the Ideas Institute model, and several single family homes. Think of this as a Dell Web community on steroids and totally Zero Energy. IF you have appropriate contacts, please forward this information, Thank You ! ! So that's who we are, thanks for your contact. Don www.ZeroEnergyLifestyle.blogspot.com for photos, too.

Hi Keath and group. I have lived in Phoenix for 26 years coming from a very windy Wyoming. I am attending college and am new to the pickensplan as well. Solar is slowly becoming a passion for me, and I am doing a project for this class. If anyone would care to be interviewed this week, please leave me number. Thanks. JP

Keath -- I think Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords might sign on to the Picken's Pledge with some encouragement. That would make for a bipartisan Arizona delegation, now that Shadegg has agreed to join. Shall we approach her office for a meeting? Let me know...I would like to help. RJB

Hi Keath, Your "Add as Friend" is not working for me. Is it just me? By the way I have another friend. You can see his page and learn something about him at http://www.push.pickensplan.com/xn/detail/u_22adiguoqp7td. He could use a job and has extensive experience in drafting and design which he has used in erection of wind generators. See if you can help him.

Hello Keath,

In addition to reaching out and recruiting new and current members of our respective districts/regions, I'd like to invite Picken's Plan members to Palomar College, San Marcos,CA on April 22nd, 2009 (Earth Day) for an environmentally themed event. At this event, I would like to organize a body of Picken's Plan, clean & green driven members dedicated to District 49 and surroundiong areas. For 33,000+ students, this will be the first of many events taking place in district 49 that I can personally assure our members.

Anyone interested? I would be able to provide AT LEAST one booth (table, chairs, and possibly canopy) so we can provide information, as well as representation for the Picken's Plan for sustainable and environmentally efficient energy alternatives. I can be contacted at either my Picken's Plan page or at tellesaj2@yahoo.com.

Thank you for your committment to a brighter and cleaner future!

Hey Keath! How ya doin! I'm really glad you sent that stuff over. I decided to check out both the AWEA and NWCC sites. I only skimmed over them, but there is a lot of free info there for anyone looking into wind-power. Thanks for the lead on that. Friends ? Larry

Hi Keath, I'm Larry Ihnots and newly active. I'm only a layman, but highly interested in wind turbines. I'm also looking for some friends. If you have the time and desire, would you write a brief synopsis on the very basic cocstruc - tion and operational electrical storage unit? Thank You, Larry

Keath,

I too am anxious to see production of domestic products, especially for the area of wind energy and solar energy. I am a native Tucsonian with a MBA in Technology Management. I have been a Project Manager for a General Contractor and a Mechanical HVAC subcontractor and have over 15 years experience in the construction industry. Although I am not a Mechanical Engineer, I have worked with Bill Acorn (Mechanical Engineer) and Anderson DeBartolo Engineers and have had the fortune to work closely with these people and have learned a lot in the Mechanical field. Through my career experience in project management and Masters in Technology Management, I am looking forward to breaking into the Wind Power industry. This industry is our future and the future for our children.

How can I help with getting people to see that Tucson Arizona is the perfect location for a manufacturing plant for wind powered units? I have done some research on manufacturing plants for wind powered units and found that there is a company - "Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation" located in Chicago, IL. Currently Suzlon has a "staging area, in Tucson" for several large "tower sections" for wind powered structures laying on the ground, located on S. Wilmot between Valencia and I-10. I spoke to a security guard today and asked about the large tower sections. He told me that they have been brought in by train from Chicago and are now being picked up via large semi trailers and being taken to California for installation. Arizona would be a far better location for a manufacturing plant such as this. Costs for shipping this equipment to the "sunshine states" would be reduced greatly and we could obtain contracts from the government to manufacturer and install these units in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and California at a greater savings. Also, this would be a clean air industrial plant to bring into our state and would create many new jobs.

Let me know how I can help and maybe there would be a spot within your company that I could help in promoting the development of a manufacturing plant in Tucson for Wind Power units.

I am a brand new member(tonight), with 25 years of crude oil and natural gas experience, as l Landman.
Oil can be produced in such a way that it does not have such an adverse affect on the environment.
Natural Gas is very plentiful in the US and Canada and is a much cleaner fuel than coal or crude oil.
I do not have any experience with wind, but having spent most of my career in Texas, Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming and Colorado, I can testify there is adequate wind to propel many, many windmills.
In my opinion, Americans and I am just as guilty, take the easy way until forced to stop, look and listen and make our world a better place and make the United States the shining star of the entire planet.

I hope to become a much more active member of "pickens plan" and only need further advising.

Hi Keath

While Boone's "Dream Team" (at the Energy Conference tommorrow) comes at the problem from inside the storm, we need to kick up the dust around the perimeter. We need to get our numbers to many millions before April 1st Virtual March.

Hope you can rally your friends and district to help by putting the recruiting effort into overdrive!
