CORRECTION: Well, I meant that our X-GEN units are not ready for public demonstration. Proof-of-Concept Prototype (POCP) on lower performance units is ready. It's just that such disclosure is proprietary understanding, trade secret, pre-patent. Will only show under Non-Disclosure Agreement to a reputable firm under ample documentation and with deep enough pockets to litigate over if screwed. Conferences really only serve to hook us up with the little companies jockeying for clean tech commerce and where there isn't much capital to levy against if disclosing our secrets. Too public. We're still getting our vision to the big fish like Mr. Pickens if he's interested. People and companies that can make it happen. Due to the nature of our stuff, the smaller ones probably won't have what it takes to overcome market barriers and we'd only be cheating shareholders of their investments that way. But, for your stuff that is less controversial and hated.....the conference might be a good thing.
William and I are now friends and at peace. :-) Anyhow, just a notice I'm circulating to my energy friends...
NOTICE: Got a brochure in the mail today from a company advertising for a battery and EV/hybrid car conference coming up in December. California. Contact me in private interested in the name and details. I might go. I dunno if it's worth the $500 to $1200 fees yet or for which one. If it's just a typical engineering conference -- like ASME or AIAA -- with lectures from various dweebs yapping on the wonders of more future caveman tech....forget it. They have a bunch of corporate attendees and supposedly lots of major "decision-makers" there. I kinda doubt that from a mostly corporate board world or government admin dweebs. They all have to run home and present things and get the boss' permission at least, but there surely might be some CEO's and CTO's there worth schmoozing with. Our X-GEN stuff isn't ready for presentation, but I could throw together some demonstration gizmos that bewilder the naysayers. Got a buddy with wild battery technology that would blow away anything they've got there, but I'm still seeing if he wants to go. Thinking it might be fun to crash the party, but I'm still waiting to hear more about what it takes to get a booth there. :-) We could always set up a sidewalk booth right outside if they don't wanna let us in. But, it's long drive from here. I may or may not. Still looking into it. In any case, some of you may be interested in attending and getting your ideas before people there.
In my latest reply to William on the thread below, there's a bunch of Ether understanding and levitation chatter you may enjoy. Doubtful I can teach that guy anything, but at least there are surely others listening who may learn something. Maybe Boone.
You might enjoy this note sent to Linda a moment ago. :-) Areas in red I've changed to black bold for you here.

Hi Linda,
A pleasure to encounter your website. Today, I was slugging it out on the Pickens Plan forum with some nit wit and ran by Fred Mars. He and I are just starting to get to know each other on-line and he mentioned a relation to you and your website. I had no idea Mr. Brown's family was still active and keeping his memory alive. So glad to see it.
Your father was a great scientist. It will be fun to learn more about his story. In fact, he may very well have worked under or near my great grandfather's compartment -- which oversaw work like your dad's. Even Tesla's heisted work of Hoover....all stuff they gave to my great gramps for review. You might get a kick to know Dr. Snow was working on electro-magneto-gravitics a little before your father back in the 1920's! In the last days of his life, he was working still on a unification theory for gravity. Oh, you can bet he knew of your dad.
Areas you may find interesting to Dr. Snow's bio are in red [BLACK] below. I am also curious if you ever heard of him in relation to your dad or mentioned by him? How about Col. Paul Linebarger of Army/OSS (Snow's son-in-law)?
Anyhow, just wanted to say hello. Some of your father's work is showcased in my videos:
Propulsion & levitation wise, I don't really deal much with your father's work since it is now outdated and wattage per pound of lift efficiency is less than other methods (such as enhanced/ modified Hutchison Effect, sonic, and other means). Your father was a great pioneer in the field, though, and his asymmetric capacitor understanding is great. I have also a few pages of math and physics notes of mine that overlap with that. You're welcome to it if you want.
Anyhow, we stand on his shoulders while he probably stood on the shoulders of Tesla and some of Dr. Snow's work. Just wanted to say that. Along the road to building a real Starship Enterprise, he was among the first and not at all forgotten.

Oh, I sent Mr. Pickens email some time ago giving him a summary of things and warning not to invest too much in wind power. Good stuff, but we can certainly strip those props off, cut the masts down, and replace the entire thing with portable units of equal wattage out put and more.
Sent you an add friend request, a note through LinkedIn, and now am posting to your wall here. A great pleasure to meet you. I didn't think I would find skunks of my own streak on the Pickens Plan. Whatever comes or if they want to kick me out for beating up on William...fine, but meeting you I suspect will have been worth it. Like your pages. Still touring them and reading.
Pretty much what you're grumbling about on Energy is what I grumble about. The best of my work stands on the shoulders of the great ones in our field. Happy to correspond some in private. Can yap more face to face on SKYPE or by phone whenever's good for you. Should be fun. I'm always learning new things from your crowd. Best education in science I've ever received, and I just engineer wildly from that.

* Got lots of fun videos you may enjoy off the channel. Probably we even share some of the same interesting friends and associates, but best we talk in secret on that stuff. Always open to unification of my conspiracy with that of others! :-)
I have written to Mr. Pickens on several occasions and have not received a reply. I even added him to my network on LinkedIn and he accepted but never replied to any of my messages. I am surprised that I haven't been banned from here since I oppose much of what is being done thus far.
Small wind in not THE solution but it is certainly a step in the right direction as it will reduce dependence on other energy sources. I have just run across an interesting idea of photovoltaics that use a rare mineral instead of sunlight, but I find it will be even more cost prohibitive than current solar technology and may be years from development into a viable product.
Scot Brusaw's Solar Roadways is a great idea and one that I support fully. Visit his site to learn more, and you may tell him that I sent you!
Haven't been able to get a response from the pickens team on an idea. Maybe you have some pull some where. Assuming the new wind farm is on hold, why not setup a fund to add a windmill to an existing wind farm ? I would contribute to it. My original reason for joining was to increase the use of wind energy.
New York will never go in lieu of taxes....way to bad/disfunctional econcmy and state gov. BUT we are in process of fighting for legislation at local levels to let in building mount wind. It's a real problem, as state legislation has only dealt with you mother's gigantic red-wood sized turbines. ideas? other states examples?
To all that care or pay attention, I apologize for being away so long, but I have become active in a project that is a life long dream of giving love.
I am working out the details to create a horse ranch and camp for children with special needs. We are forming a corporate structure and will produce a business plan and a website where we will be soliciting donations.
We have a perfect place in mind, and with a little hard work it will be self sufficient and sustaining. I have acquired the "rights" to a 24,500 Watt per hour generator that is in need of TLC, and will be spinning it with biodiesel instead og gas or farm diesel. We will install small wind and solar to privide energy as well, and I am working with local government to make changes in the laws that will make it easier to sell the power back at wholesale rates. There are restrictions here that would require that I provide at least 2 megaWatts before they will sign a PPA.
I have also vbeen active with the End The Fed movement and feel that many of the ideas we have discussed here on the Energy Party is in alignment with those same goals. I highly recommend that everyone watch the movie/video The Money Masters ASAP and you can watch it with the whole family.

I love the solar roadway idea. I did not see on the site where the concept has been tested in real world. Do you have info on this? I run a portal called http//www.historyiscalling.org whose mission is to gather and promote the vision of change-makers like you.
I recommend that you visit, post your vision and we will help get the word out to the network to join in on your idea.
ps. i have survived those ice storms, blizzards and "wide right". now you know the area to which I refer. The worst part is we are in a highest wind average zone here by the great lakes.
AH HA!!! great minds do run the same channels. Great research. Do you follow nanotechnology at all?? Surely i will be the game changer in the
clean energy industry. Conductive polymers, insulating properties, radiant barriers, convection barriers. An assistant prof at U. Cincy just made an attena for his cell phone with nanomaterial. The US Military is buying every single thread made at U of texas...i'm thinking windows, window blankets, etc. I live in the north east where folks still don't believe...except in the the easter bunny, would love to hear your thoughts, correspond some. sosolar

The practicality of a simple initiative coming from us to push our leaders to do the right thing is as practical as a Novocain therapy on easing the pain of aTrigeminal Neuralgia. A green initiative such as the Pickens Plan or any imagination from our engineers and green entrepreneurs will give us an initial fix to pacify our anguish with the present economictic douloureux. One thing we do not have is time. We do not have the time just to sit around and wait for our leaders to do something, wait for our leaders to pick us up. The cost of not doing anything is catastrophic. The initiative should start from us, and not from Washington. Otherwise, without our push and our initiative, the imaginations of our scientists and our entrepreneurial spirit are nothing but dust in the wind. Our anguish will just be a drop of water in an endless sea, our hopes will just crumble to the ground, our cry will just be an old song, and all we are is just dust in the wind.I could almost feel my heart thumping while I use the poetic words of Kerry Livgren of the group Kansas to describe the ramification of not answering the call of urgency. Now is the time for us to take charge of our future, push to our leaders the importance of the“cap and trade”.
Gore vs. Pickens: who got the right stuff? Environmentalism and Green Capitalism could best describe the March 9thMemnosyne Foundation "Energy Independence: Pickens Planvs. Gore Challenge" Leadership Dialogue. Conversation Catalysts"-Geoffrey Bailey, former White House intern, Regional Leader - New Energy Army/Pickens Plan and ToddHoward, President of T. Howard & Associates and graduate of Al Gore's "The Climate Project” framed the two plans to kick off the dialogue. The third in a 3-event Environmental Leadership Dialogue Series, facilitated by Orbits of Influence –was truly a powerful and engaging experience, bringing together some of the best minds and strongest advocates to compare and contrast the two prominent U.S. Energy Independence plans (one – the Pickens Plan – based right here in Texas!) and to address how best to ensure sustainable energy and the national security issues for our region and nation, while protecting our natural resources and sparking innovation to leverage new alternative energy sources and the economic boom they represent.Al Gore, former U.S. vice president, a Nobel Prize-winning crusader challenges the U.S. to produce all of its electricity from renewable sources in 10 years to combat climate change.T. Boone Pickens, a Texas Billionaire, answer the challenge for a massive switch to natural gas as a transportation fuel and a dramatic increase in wind power, building the largest wind farm in the world. So who’s right? It is clear that there is much that these two men agree on. Gore and Pickens along with former President Bill Clinton and other prominent leaders on alternative energy emphasizes the importance of the continuance of a new green revolution during the February 23rd“National Clean Energy Project Summit”in Washington DC.The summit focused on the modernization and expansion of the electrical grid, integrating energy efficiency and increasing transmission capacity for renewable energy-a green approach on reducing our nation’s dependence on foreign oil by examining short and long term solutions to replace foreign oil with domestic resources to fuel vehicles and trucks, including natural gas.The energy system of the future will tie efficiency and renewable energy together. The bundling of efficiency and renewable energy together will not be feasible without the unique alignment of an environmentalist visions like Al Gore’s, the imaginations of scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs, and the risks of capitalists has to take in the present unstable economic environment. What is the difference between entrepreneurs and capitalists? The entrepreneurs are the athletes and the capitalists are the coaches. The coaches train and motivate their teams and choose which athletes get to play, and help them create the plays and the plans to win. The beginning of the greatest story of this century is now, and the success of our initiative relies to our determination. Our determination will then fuel others to join our fight, and together we will prevail as a nation of leaders, leaders who will make this country great again, leaders who will make this earth of ours, a green planet for the future generation.
On April 1st to 3rd, the Pickens Plan will initiate a Virtual March on Washington. The Pickens Plan team willutilize the size and unique capabilities of the New Green Energy Army to have an enormous impact on the White House and Congress. The Army will focus its energy for three days on e-mails, calls and faxes to every Member of Congress. The success of this event will prove that advances in communication technology could bridge our differences, expanding human interconnectedness to virtually test the possibility of ideological re-wiring of America. The Virtual March will strengthen our true power to initiate change, making way to the evolution of our common conviction not as white, black, yellow or brown, Christians or not, straight or gay, but us one nation, one body, one soul to create a better future for the country and the rest of the world. Well, some will say that achieving a unified comprehensive vision for the future of America is impossible because each and every one of us are raised in different ethnic and religious values, if the majority will foster such mentality then all of our efforts to renew America is nothing but dust in the wind.An advice from a friend in Alabama will be something that I will always remember. “Confidence will give my generation and the next generation a special kind of courage to strike out in new directions and still believe that the future will be at least as bright as the past ever was”. Personally, I got my confidence and my inspiration when America embraced the need for change and elected the First Black President of the United States.Without embracing change, in just a blink of our eyes, our hope, our dreams and everything we started will be just dust in the wind. Without our initiative to push any plan like the Pickens Plan to answer the call of the Gore Challenge, without the support of our leaders who are willing to risk their political careers to do what is right for the future, with out the much needed inter-agency cooperation to build a new smart energy grid needed for our sustainability survival-the new genre of job opportunities that depends upon the renewal of our energy infrastructures will be nothing but dust in the wind.
Uly Labilles Congressional District Leader (Dallas TX-32 At-Large) at T. Boone Pickens Plan Dallas/Fort Worth Area Virtual March on Washingtonon April 1-3, 2009.
Hi Fred.
I finally read your plan on saving America.
It sounds like it will work once enough people get behind it.
There are farms - very few - here who either rent land for individual gardens or are pick your own - usually fruit. The produce costs about the same as in supermarkets but is fresh. Not as you pointed out picked when still green.
We like to buy - when possible - locally grown fruits and vegetables. Sometimes from farmer's markets.
I grew up in the country on a farm and my folks - mother - had a large garden and a seperate corn field. The food was delicious and we never (although I didn't know it) had to worry about pesticides etc.
I doubt that I will ever see it done but I would like to see a cap on how many terms a congressman can serve. I think if this is done maybe more people would run for that office.
I agree that criticism of the government serves no purpose. If you have an idea or constructive criticism they should know.

Drop me a note

clean energy industry. Conductive polymers, insulating properties, radiant barriers, convection barriers. An assistant prof at U. Cincy just made an attena for his cell phone with nanomaterial. The US Military is buying every single thread made at U of texas...i'm thinking windows, window blankets, etc. I live in the north east where folks still don't believe...except in the the easter bunny, would love to hear your thoughts, correspond some. sosolar

Without Our Initiative, Support and Follow-Through
“Everything Will Just Be Dust in the Wind”
The practicality of a simple initiative coming from us to push our leaders to do the right thing is as practical as a Novocain therapy on easing the pain of a Trigeminal Neuralgia. A green initiative such as the Pickens Plan or any imagination from our engineers and green entrepreneurs will give us an initial fix to pacify our anguish with the present economic tic douloureux. Our anguish will just be a drop of water in an endless sea, our hopes will just crumble to the ground, our cry will just be an old song, and all we are is just dust in the wind. I could almost feel my heart thumping while I use the poetic words of Kerry Livgren of the group Kansas to describe the ramification of not answering the call of urgency. Now is the time for us to take charge of our future, push to our leaders the importance of the “cap and trade”.
Gore vs. Pickens: who got the right stuff? Environmentalism and Green Capitalism could best describe the March 9th Memnosyne Foundation "Energy Independence: Pickens Plan vs. Gore Challenge" Leadership Dialogue. Conversation Catalysts"-Geoffrey Bailey, former White House intern, Regional Leader - New Energy Army/Pickens Plan and Todd Howard, President of T. Energy Independence plans (one – the Pickens Plan – based right here in Texas!) and to address how best to ensure sustainable energy and the national security issues for our region and nation, while protecting our natural resources and sparking innovation to leverage new alternative energy sources and the economic boom they represent. Al Gore, former U.S. vice president, a Nobel Prize-winning crusader challenges the U.S. to produce all of its electricity from renewable sources in 10 years to combat climate change. T. Boone Pickens, a Texas Billionaire, answer the challenge for a massive switch to natural gas as a transportation fuel and a dramatic increase in wind power, building the largest wind farm in the world. So who’s right? It is clear that there is much that these two men agree on. Gore and Pickens along with former President Bill Clinton and other prominent leaders on alternative energy emphasizes the importance of the continuance of a new green revolution during the February 23rd “National Clean Energy Project Summit” in Washington DC. The summit focused on the modernization and expansion of the electrical grid, integrating energy efficiency and increasing transmission capacity for renewable energy-a green approach on reducing our nation’s dependence on foreign oil by examining short and long term solutions to replace foreign oil with domestic resources to fuel vehicles and trucks, including natural gas. The energy system of the future will tie efficiency and renewable energy together.
The Pickens Plan team will utilize the size and unique capabilities of the New Green Energy Army to have an enormous impact on the White House and Congress. Well, some will say that achieving a unified comprehensive vision for the future of America is impossible because each and every one of us are raised in different ethnic and religious values, if the majority will foster such mentality then all of our efforts to renew America is nothing but dust in the wind. An advice from a friend in Alabama will be something that I will always remember. “Confidence will give my generation and the next generation a special kind of courage to strike out in new directions and still believe that the future will be at least as bright as the past ever was”. Personally, I got my confidence and my inspiration when America embraced the need for change and elected the First Black President of the United States. Without embracing change, in just a blink of our eyes, our hope, our dreams and everything we started will be just dust in the wind.

Virtual March on Washington on April 1-3, 2009.
