I going to try to come and have a look very soon. I need to take photos of the EDA site near the new jail, and look at other area spots. Google earth is good but I need to see it myself.
I plan on a small natural gas power plant, that uses the off-gases from the power units to fast grow trees in greenhouses(native WV trees) to be used to replant old mine sites. The trees will grow 130% faster then the norm. So I can replant faster then the norm. The greenhouses filter the off-gases as a carbon sink. The trees that are replanted are also a carbon sink. The natural gas units make 121 tons of C02 per year. The off-sets over a short time will make the power plant carbon zero. This will be the only power plant in WV to be carbon zero. I use 96,000 but per hour, (4000 btu less then 1 large hearter) to make power for 7200 homes. The trees would be given away free to anybody that would replant them. Old coal sites are # 1 on my list for the trees.
