Hi Leslie.........How are you doing this summer? What project is Hermann working on these days? Here all is well. I added a new high efficiency heat-pump/furnace with a 16 SEER rating that qualifies me for the new tax rebate. It also is integrated into my existing solar HW system. I love the new setup and hopefully I will burn much less LPG. Have you been keeping tabs on solar incentives in FLA. I have a friend getting ready to install a very large photovoltaic array in Colorado.......good incentives from his electric company. Hope all is well............Lee
Thanks... I didnt want to cause problems, but it was very offensive to me, that when it popped up, I had to run my kids out of the room... I have four little ones, and it just wasnt cool... But thanks again, I appreciate it. Sara and Andrew
lol. I don't get Ning sometimes - with all the changes they make. There are times that new functionality makes things better and times when it makes things worse. Maybe it's a security mechanism to ensure that I only get comments from folks I comment to first... If so, then I like it. If someone wants to converse, they can still do it on the blogs or friend me or find me at StarGenCo.com or on twitter, etc :)
Hi Leslie, This is my addition to the HR 1622 message to congress.
I agree with HR 1622 however I feel that the 120 Million being spent for research is uncalled for. The use of CNG, LNG, & propane has been a alternate fuel since 1954. While we had to have a dual fuel carberator and a tank in the trunk, or the back of the pickup, I feel the industry has kept up with the research. I acted as Project Manager installing the second Subterranean LNG site and dispensing facility for the OCTA at State Collage and 91 Hiway in Anaheim, Ca.. The money needs to be spent in subsidizing changes to all Gas dispencing facilities. (Service Stations) This is the same problem that Hydrogen fueled cars and trucks are having. A mass change over can be handled by Skid Mounting Tankage and pump stations. Once the stations are equipped we can manufacture the cars & trucks. Then and only then do we start below ground tankage. Now we come to the real reason this approach won't work. Government regulations, tree huggers, privete intrest groups, and the ACLU will delay all of the above until we find a way to produce a propetual motion engine to solve the problems. Thanks for listening

I love the idea that he has and totally support it. I did see on our news the other day though, that he is pulling back on it. What is the word on that?
I read it. Not nearly as long and drawn out as I expected. I certainly support it. The main impetus is the tax credits for manufacturers. They need all the help they can get, and adding the credits consumers would get...well, everyone is counting pennies right now. That in mind, it makes too much sense to fail. Why would anyone vote against such a bill? Most republicans did. They still don't "get it" do they? They think they're gonna just waltz in with the usual tax promises and win it don't they?: Well, Iv'e learned the hard way not to underestimate them in the past, but I hope that these environmental issues get some attention before the torch is passed again.
Oh my, that certainly answered my question! Thank you. It's amazing how close the votes still are. Can these guys get together on anything? I pray that it passes. I'm going to read the bill asap, and I'll talk back as soon as I do. Thank you very much.
I'm going to read up on it today. Any other info you have about it would be appreciated. Who sponsored the bill? From what state? This administrations work ethic is more ambitious than we've seen in a long time, so that's a start. Now is the time to talk common sense to them. They are listening..for once.
