Those pictures always make me lose track of what was going to say.... How are you doing Bill? I'm with Stream Energy here in Hou. So far, good co. and am still searching for same old. There has got to be some way of getting these things financed and let them pay for themselves over time. Know any financial whiz types who can help us get some Grants from the government? Please advise. I really want this and know so many others who could use it.

Thanks for your query, Basically, the electricity being generated back to the grid, must be consumed during real time....that is to say the demand factor determines its use. Now I'm not saying it can't be stored in some way......a scientist at MIT has found a way to break down solar energy into various chemicals....much like a
living plant does.....so in the very near future, the power generated from the sun and as well, the wind, will be stored in that form and my be reconstituted back in to electricity ....even when the sun or wind is not generating power.....nice talking to ya....see ya Bill

I read your post on the Legislation Tracking group site. You write like a man in the know. You state without equivocation that there is no way to store the watts being generated from wind. I am not qualified to rebutt that statement but I do wonder, why? What hinders the storage of millions of watts?

I did do that GaBill, Have sent off an e-mail already.. Certainly is a nice rebate on solar but nothing on wind for as far as Texas goes.. We are supposed to get or have a chance to get rain 5 out of the next 7 days.. We sure do need it .. The trees and shurbs are really stressing.. This heat has been unreal.. Take care

Dear Bill,

I looked at your solar website. It seemed too good to be true. It turns only a handful of states offer rebates that can cover the entire cost of solar systems. What we really need is solar companies that develop high-efficiency, low cost solar technology so that government and utilities don't have to sudsidize it. Companies like SunPower and Nanosolar are already doing this. SunPower develops all-black solar cells that get 23.4% efficiency. Nanosolar develops low-cost panels based on a highly-conductive metal foil with a layer of nanoparticle ink. They claim that their film gets 5-10% better efficiency than conventional film technology.

You can see Sunpower's website here at: http://www.sunpowercorp.com/Smarter-Solar.aspx

You can see Nanosolar's website here at:
http://www.nanosolar.com/

Tell me what you think!

I have an agenda.....

My life's goal is to have all residential property co-generating electricity in North America by 2025. Little know fact it's only 25% of entire North American Grid Consumption.
This is attainable we have the technology and the man-power.....
We must start now!!!! Time for talk is over.....

I have introduced the Boldest Solar/Housing Initiative ever put forth...
Entire subdivisions of low-cost Modulars with little to no electric bill that retail from $79,900 to $149,900 680sq 2/1 to 1380sq 3/2.
Meets the need for low-cost housing and helps over Stressed Grid during PEAK_USAGE hrs as entire subdivisions come on-line becoming virtual mini-generating stations.

As well as helps the environment…

Win-win-win.
It is the short term solution to a long term problem.......

Now that I have come home to South Georgia....
it is time to enlist All the help with this I can get.
I need more R & D with my new patent Idea an will be asking for Ga Tech's help.....with the SOLAR POWERED RECIRCULATOR GENERATOR which will drive the cost of production down by almost 60% and will also be going back to Washington DC in this election year to demand more from our "so called elected or soon-to-be-elected officials".

I am in negotiations with Roger Little of Spire Solar in Mass to build a 100mw manufacturing plant in Liberty County Ga.

My plan is simple mix Roger's little assembly line with RapidModular.com's walling panels to produce under one roof the
Structures of the future.

I have a Confidential Private Placement Memorandum near
Completion. I am only letting 35 non-accredited investors in
before turning it over to the Investment Banker Wolves....
they are already at the door.....

Thanks Bill for the invite. On the solar group a few minutes ago, was reading where someone advised solarhome.com as a place to start looking into solar. A person named Auntie TuTu has already done it and is very much advocating it. She just offered no company names to address.

I would like my home "solarized" completely ... yesterday, but am wondering how much it takes to produce enough for my home, but think anything would be a help. I'm in Houston and it gets rather warm here. We have lots of wonderful what we call Texas Sunshine that would usually be collecting the power, but then we do have the occasional hurricane and storms. We've been out of power for days to week and my Mom needed her oxygen equipment and hospital equipment powered. It was NOT pleasant. There are many people in similar situations near me. I'm interested in primary source of solar and secondary source in power outtages.
Good luck with your search.

Dear Georgia Bill,

Thanks for the website, as i will check it out. I work as an Area Manager for PowerStream Communications,Inc., and we are branching out to do Wind, and Solar Power, for both residential, and Commercial applications, as well as Wind, and Solar farms. My boss has been involved with Wind, and Solar for quite a few years now, and was a leader in Solar Washington a group that worked with leaders in Washington to push the Issues for a green Washington in Olympia the capital. i hope this website is helpful, and will be in your ballpark as we intend to do this in western Washington, and then branch out into other areas.

Thanks again,

Georgia Bill , This does not concern anything about the Pickens Plan, but you being a Texan will appreciate this...
Have you ever looked at a map of the world? Look at Texas with me just for a second. That picture, with the Panhandle and the Gulf Coast , and the Red River and the Rio Grande is as much a part of you as anything ever will be. As soon as anyone anywhere in the world looks at it they know what it is. It's Texas . Pick any kid off the street in Japan and draw him a picture of Texas in the dirt and he'll know what it is. What happens if I show you a picture of any other state? You might get it maybe after a second or two, but who else would? And even if you do, does it ever stir any feelings in you? In every man, woman and child on this planet, there is a person who wishes just once he could be a real live Texan and get up on a horse or ride off in a pickup. There is a little bit of Texas in everyone. Did you ever hear anyone in a bar go, 'Wow...so you're from Iowa ? Cool, tell me about it?' Do you know why? Because no one gives a crap about Iowa .' Texas is the Alamo . Texas is 183 men standing in a church, facing thousands of Mexican nationals, fighting for freedom, who had the chance to walk out and save themselves, but stayed instead to fight and die for the cause of freedom. We send our kids to schools named William B. Travis and James Bowie and Crockett, and do you know why? Because those men saw a line in the sand and they decided to cross it and be heroes. John Wayne paid to do the movie himself. That is the Spirit of Texas. Texas is Sam Houston capturing Santa Anna at San Jacinto . Texas is huge forests of Piney Woods like the Davy Crockett National Forest . Texas is breathtaking mountains in the Big Bend . Texas is the unparalleled beauty of bluebonnet fields in the Texas Hill Country. Texas is the beautiful, warm beaches of the Gulf Coast of South Texas. Texas is the shiny skyscrapers in Houston and Dallas. Texas is world record bass from places like Lake Fork . Texas is Mexican food like nowhere else, not even Mexico . Texas is the Fort Worth Stockyards, Bass Hall, the Ballpark in Arlington , the Astrodome. (guess now the Reliant Stadium too)Texas is larger-than-life legends like Michael DeBakey, Denton Cooley, Willie Nelson, Buddy Holly, Gene Autry, Audie Murphy, Tommy Lee Jones, Waylon Jennings, Janis Joplin, Kris Kristofferson, Tom Landry, Darrell Royal, ZZ Top, Eric Dickerson, Earl Campbell, Nolan Ryan, Sam Rayburn, Howard Hughes, George H. W.Bush, Lyndon B. Johnson, and George W. Bush. and let's not forget GEORGE STRAIT !!!!!!!!!!!! Texas is great companies like Dell Computer, Texas Instruments and Compaq, Bell Helicopter And LOCKHEED MARTIN AEROSPACE, Home of the F-16 Jet Fighter and the JSF Fighter. Texas is NASA. Texas is huge herds of cattle and miles of crops. Texas is home to the most amazing sunsets of gold over an empty field. Texans have pride like no others. Texas is hundreds of deer running around neighborhoods and fields. Texas is skies blackened with doves, and fields full of deer. Texas is a place where towns and cities shut down to watch the local high school football game on Friday nights and for the Cowboys on Monday Night Football, and for the Night In Old San Antonio River Parade in San Antonio. To drive across Texas is to drive 1/4 the way across the United States . Texas is ocean beaches, deserts, lakes and rivers, mountains and prairies, and modern cities. If it isn't in Texas , you probably don't need it. Everything's bigger in Texas ! No one does anything bigger or better than it's done in Texas . By federal law, Texas is the only state in the U.S. that can fly its flag at the same height as the U.S. flag. Think about that for a second. You fly the Stars and Stripes at 20 feet in Maryland , California , or Maine , and your state flag, whatever it is, goes at 17 feet. You fly the Stars and Stripes in front of Klein Oak High or anyplace else at 20 feet, the Lone Star flies at the same height - 20 feet. Do you know why? Because it is the only state that was a Republic before it became a state. Also, being a Texan is as high as being an American down here. Our capitol is the only one in the country that is taller than the capitol building in Washington, D.C. and we can divide our state into five states at any time if we wanted to! We included these things as part of the deal when we came on. That's the best part, right there. Texas even has its own power grid!! ... Did I mention Live music capitol of the world?

People don't seem to care much about the "pride factor".Exactly that could be in the USA, and will be in USA!
