You may have heard of us through El Dorado Counties plan to move the Dump/MRF to Missouri Flat Road.
My name is Mike Mueller and I also live in Placerville. I am also a member of the PickensPlan and am concerned about this nation and its energy use.
That is why I thought to contact you today. As it has happened in our attempt to stop the MRF relocation to Missouri Flat Rd. It has come to our attention that El Dorado County is not at all taking advantage of the Alternative Energy potential and assets that we have from our garbage. Or all the methane potential of the old Union Mine landfill site. And others.
I am inviting you to become informed and involved in your own town and RIPP, Inc. as we assist El Dorado County in making the most of its assets.
We have made some great progress thus far and have many supporters in the area and are always looking to educate and encourage participation.

In the world before internet there were universities where people would congregate to share knowledge. Graduates moved into jobs, Governments or started their own universities or organizations to capture their own piece of the pie, forever thankful to the individuals and systems responsible for their status and well being.

Now we see the new world order evolving. It is a virtual world anchored to real people who perform real functions in a rapidly changing environment.

The virtual internet society has its own social structure with self appointed voluntary participants. It had to 'start' with something. Old concepts of power and worth, service and success have been modified to suit an environment where real communication and real knowledge is the medium of exchange. This is not about writing missives and following directions. It is about establishing a dialogue with another individual and enjoying the company of that other person. A person who does not belittle or pity you. A 'giver' rather than a 'taker' . It is about teaching and being taught.

With power by the people for the people, the captains of industry are also the navies. Within weeks we will see graduates of the Pickens U create their own Nings tied together with Twitter. If you can set up a 'my page' you can set up your own Ning social network. That is all 'we' need to manage our problems. Massive projects can be carried out by the co-ordinated input of millions rather than by the few hundred who 'control' the resources.

What the heck do we do with all the bricks and mortar universities?

It has been a while since we kept in touch last!

We are now over 1.2 million suporters. We will need many more if we are to beat back the damn lobbyists and special interests. Can you help with the pledges? Every American needs to sign on. With pledges we can fan out and reach so many. It is an easy ask- Boone has done the hard work. I was able to get 300 signed in the first 4 days - everyone wants to to get off of foreign oil. We may never have a golden opportunity like this again!

I did all the research and there are no conversion kits available for any of the current late model vehicles out there, other than a couple from GM that appear to be commercial engines. We need more people to demand these conversion kits, and at a reasonable price, AND with the cooperation of DMV and the State of California. The State has to approve the kits and right now it appears to difficult to comply with their requirements, thus no conversion kits. Thanks again, Chuck

I also found that they all receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributionns from big oil and push only the need to drill issueI started a group called Inexpensive Clean energy where I posted links to legislative directory,voting history,find out how much money your rep gets from big oil,contact congress,issues up for vote,gas taxes in your state,energy efficient grants and incentives and more.
Check it out , find out about your rep, contact them, join our group and tell a friend.
Together we can make a difference. This is an election year so the time is now.

Which, like yourself, have been doing for 2 months. I also got the message from dozens pickensplan.com people. You know, I finally started deleting them off my comment wall.

However, there is something I am going to do tomorrow. In a polite, friendly way I am going to email people on my friends lists who have had no activity for a month.

That would be so great to help a builder like that. If I were a builder I'd use solar and other energy efficient things. CA is so far ahead of the builders here in the Midwest. By the way, what is the price of propane there?

On any of the main pages there is a new RED button "Contact Congress". It is very easy.
You fill in the form- name, address, etc. and the letter pops up. It automatically gets sent to your Governor and Representatives in Washington. It also sends back a copy of the letter. In light of the urgency of the energy blll, that you have thankfully inflormed us all about, this may be the mst important action at the moment. Any ideas on how to proceed.
