Haven't been able to get a response from the pickens team on an idea. Maybe you have some pull some where. Assuming the new wind farm is on hold, why not setup a fund to add a windmill to an existing wind farm ? I would contribute to it. My original reason for joining was to increase the use of wind energy.

Hello-
I am very interested in running vehicles on natural gas,
and establishing fueling stations to support doing that.
I read the article by Mr. Pickens and Mr. Turner in the Wall St. Journal recently.
I would like be a partner with them in this venture,
and offer my land at the intersection of I 70 and I 77
in Cambridge Ohio to be used as a natural gas truckstop. These freeways go all the way across the country
in all 4 directions,
and the location is within 2 hours drive
of many major cities.
11.5 acres are suitable for this purpose, with development.
There is more land as well.
We are also in the natural gas and oil business,
in a small way, and have put in the pipeline infrastructure
to support this natural gas truckstop with as much fuel as required.
This could be provided by the local utility,
and also from our own natural gas field which we have tapped succesfully.
I have pipeline in place for this truckstop now,
and we own the property outright.
Please contact me regarding the possiblities,
and pass this along to Mr. Pickens and Mr. Turner.
Thank You,
Shon D. Lenzo

Good Morning Jessica. Been kicking around an idea and implementing it in our home. Working great for us and wanted to share. During the hot summer months, we have taken the evaporator hose from our a/c and drain into containers. The distilled water is then used to water our vegetable and flower gardens. We can easily "bottle" over five gallons daily when the a/c is running. It could also be used for drinking...making ice...etc. We have noticed at the stores (in our area, Dayton, Ohio) that people usually have a cart filled with drinking water and another cart filled with their groceries. This savings we've made are from one residential dwelling...can you imagine how much water could be manufactured from commercial buildings. Why waste it when it can be used? Just wanted to put this out to those interested. We've saved $$$$. P.S. the veggies and flowers love the drink as well :)

Hey Jessica. Hope life is treating you good. I emailed my congress/senate members regarding the Transmission/RES and also the Wind issue through my energy page and it was documented on it. Also I signed up to promote it through my face book page. Not really worried about the points or anything. Just thought I would bring it to your attention so if there is a technical issue they can get it address. Best wishes. www.theasphaltblogger.com

The momentum of a very large ship cannot be stopped in a day, month or year: perhaps in decades it can. So what if big business benefits from the Pickens Plan - buy stock in MobilExxon? Getting big business behind something usually makes it happen if the government is the enabler. This is the only short term way to go.

Once we are keeping our $$$ at home we will have much more $$$ to spend on research and energy projects. For example. I personally think that we should spend big $$$$ on geothermal wells to generate turbine steam power in a closed loop system - absolutely no green house issues and almost a net 0 thermal issue. Nuclear is a clear and known option as is solar and wind power but they can never hope to equal the thermal energy in sheer output and you do not have to worry about energy storage in dark or windless hours.

If you have a remote house or cabin then by all means add solar and wind if meteorological conditions permit. Decouple the grid? Sure. Enact legislation to receive fair prices for energy produced? Sure. It is all good and should be applied where the situation dictates.

Hi, just a quick question, who will benifit the most from this Pickens Plan? Don't get me wrong, we have to get off our dependence of foreign oil. But after researching this plan, I feel it is very wrong. Big Oil (including Boone) will prosper from this. I think the direction we need to spend our money on is Solar Power, and Nuclear Power.

Hello Jessica.
I've been a member of the Pickens Army for quite awhile - though sidelined by old age and a couple surgeries last Fall. This is my first time on the website in March and I just discovered you are our new Regional Director. That's why I'm writing to you. I have two questions: (1) Navigating the Pickens Plan website is really slow for me today. It wasn't last month. Is this because of a lot of current activity? (2) I discover I belong to some groups that are non-productive, not given to discussion or postings. I'd like to delete them from my web-page. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks.

Welcome Jessica.

I don't know if Jeff told you, but the first week of January I spoke with Brad Ellsworth our Eighth District Congressman from southwestern Indiana and he gave me a verbal commitment to endorsing the Pickens Plan.

I do not know if anybody from the home office has contacted his office in Washington to confirm that but it happened none the less.

Feel free to visit my web site, my site within the Pickens organization et. al. Look forward to hearing from you.
