Hello Bill,
Wow! I just visited the Windspire website. You seem to have thought of everything a potential buyer would need. I liked very much two elements on the site, one being the manufacturing plant in Michigan and the other being that the vertical axis turbine is mounted at ground level and does not exceed 35 ft. in height. I wish you and your company every success. By the way, why not post the number of employees working at your Michigan facility?

Hello,
I just wanted to take a minute of your time to let you know that a residential solar revolution has started that will change the way you think about solar.

bill hope you are doing well . nc state university is gonna test the windspire for a year in raleigh . nine mph wind average so it will be interesting !! get this ; north carolina legislature is wanting to ban wind energy in our western carolina mountains !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one guy was comparing it to being located beside hog farms !! we need to let mr. pickens hear about this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Bill. I really like the Windspire design, would like to see them popping up in residential areas where you can't install a big tower and horizontal axis windmill.
I am a huge fan of those vertical windmills........ever since i saw the first one. I also read that they are more efficient and produce more electricint on the same amount of wind than the fanwheel / propeller types. And, they look like they would be a lot easier to work on and they are "easier on the eyes". I can see some form of vertical windmills along the four corners of a commercial building.......just ginning electricity.
Bill: I need some engineering data before I can really become involved. Your energy collection may be a great deivce but the absence of solid data is well...
Thanks Bill,
I will get in touch this week, I want to thank you for your interest in our company. I really feel once we get going it will be great for our community.

You should reach out to Russ Robinson your District Leader in Hawaii. Ask him how you can help with his efforts. You have a vested interest in seeing favorable energy legislation passed--ask Russ how you can help ensure it gets done! Thanks Bill.
Hi Bill,
Just wanted to up-date you and leave my phone number. (707)-954-8455. I am still working on my SunWind Solar Business, waiting for the county to finish reveiwing my construction plans. Very excited about Solar and Wind. We basically have no contractors in this area for this business and I want to get up and going as soon as possible. I like verticals, for the looks and the sound factors. I believe they would be better suited for residentual areas. Do you have any knowledge on lenders or partnerships? I have just enough funds to complete my construction, could sure use some help, grants or such. Anyways thanks for returning my post.

Bill! How nice to see you active again. Hope all is well and you are good as new. I have a fantastic District Leader in Hawaii who has been able to accomplish remarkable things. May I give him your email address so that he might contact you. I think the two of you might make a great team and move some of the legislation (RES etc.) forward. Let me know. Email me at dani.lanz@pickensplan.com. All the best always!
Yes, in fact Boone is a large shareholder in the largest oils sands producer, Suncor.
Alberta has wind and solar potential (its always sunny here) and we already have about 4% wind power with room for about 5% in total on the existing grid.
What I don't understand about Boone's plan is how wind reduces foreign oil? In the past, bunker oil was used to generate electricity. However, due to environmental restrictions, very little is burned today. Lots of natural gas is used but the U.S. doesn't import very much other than from Canada. The only way wind would displace oil is if we started using electrical powered vehicles. As far I can tell, Boones plan doesn't go this far?.
By the way, I love Wailea and have been there many times. You are fortunate to live there.
Thanks, Bill:
I'll check out your site. For people to get to your web-site: After high-lighting any word or part of web-address, click on the (looks like horizontal 8) sign (left of the camera) and then type in your web-site address so people can just click on it and get to your web-site.

It looks like you are using a Valmont Pole for your turbine. I will stay tune for the boardcast. PAT
