Harvest Time

Every seed takes time to germinate.
So too in the fields of the soul.
We must never give up and sow
because the results do not
immediate to our eyes.
Let us wait with patience.
In the right moment, the seeds
have driven in the soil of hearts,
there will produce mature fruit.
Understanding and sow Joy, Peace and
Courage, Forgiveness and Love.
Jesus bless you have a good night.

Haven't been able to get a response from the pickens team on an idea. Maybe you have some pull some where. Assuming the new wind farm is on hold, why not setup a fund to add a windmill to an existing wind farm ? I would contribute to it. My original reason for joining was to increase the use of wind energy.

GA is beginning to realize the importance of alternative energy grants and credits. On Earth Day, Gov. Perdue signed HB 473, which provides grants up to $100,000 for solar thermal and $500,000 for Photovoltaic systems. The only caveat is the grants are capped at $25 million, but we're hoping to double or triple that year to year. This should do wonders because even companies that are losing money and not eligible for tax credits can get direct grants to offset the purchase. My firm, FLS Energy, is already factoring these grants into the Power Purchase Agreements we offer, where we own the solar systems and sell the energy back to our client firms. This will definitely bring jobs to GA.

We have these states passing laws to have us in new cars in a few years, however, not one of these states nor did the U.S. goverment tell us how we are going to buy them if we are unemployed, have bad credit do to foreclosure, or are broke from paying all the new taxes they are putting on us. They are clueless!

The Mississippi legislature passed Senate Bill 3049 which states that by the year 2014, 75% of all automobiles owned by the State must get 40 miles to the gallon or more. The bill further requires the Bureau of Fleet Management to prepare a fiscal analysis of the cost-effectiveness of using alternative fuel or energy source vehicles by state agencies, and submit a report of the fiscal analysis to the Legislature by December 15, 2009.

Renee, hopefully you can help. I have written to the website a few times asking them if they can tweak it to make it more user friendly so we can comment to more than 1 group at a time and i have not received ANY replies.

Also a member wants to know " I tried to send a message and post a blog re: Earth Day Network. I checked all my listed friends but it seems only the top one gets the message ".... please provide direction to where i can get the answers if you have no knowledge of them and make TPP aware that someone is dropping the ball...

Renee, here is our post in response to the Washington Post article:

As mentioned earlier, wind is NOT unrealiable from Mexico to Canada in the middle of the U.S.A. Wind farms are being constructed in rural areas and bringing much financial improvement to those communities and to the people living there. And yes, more of our corn and soybeans have been going into ethanol and biodiesel. These winds and crops are a differential advantage that we have in this nation. Yes, my views are influenced by growing up on an Indiana farm and graduating with an Agricultural Education degree with much additional Economics from Purdue. Keep talking T. Boone; some of us are listening and agreeing well with you!

Hello, Renee. I have just joined because I am looking for a venue to reach someone like Mr. Pickens with a presentation of an observation I have made and documented of nationwide fuel and resource waste. Would you be able to tell me if there is an address through which I can submit my report directly to Mr. Pickens? I'm sorry to say, I don't really understand nor feel comfortable with the blog format. It seems far too time-consuming for me to follow or completely figure out. May I please ask if you would kindly respond directly to my email? r4488@aol.com THANK YOU Pamela Redford
