Dani, I received a letter from Lujan regarding HR 1835. He is already a co-sponsor. Apparently the bill has never been referred out of committee for a floor vote; and has definitely not made it to the Senate. How do we get this moving? Or, how do we get the Senate to take up a similar bill and move this forward?

I posted an article about energy independence for American industry at www.vocgen.wordpress.com.”
I want to share the article with Americans concerned about our energy situation.
I hope you enjoy the article and find it encouraging.

Dani, I'm sorry, but I think that I actually just threw the letters away a few days ago. Both Hatch and Bennett replied. Hatch's letter thanked me for my support, described his reasons for supporting the Natural Gas Act and indicated that he thought this legislation was important and valued support on the issue from constituents. The Bennett letter was less effusive and less clear -- he argued with Cap and Trade (which I wasn't sure why he mentioned that), but mostly said he would support Nat Gas Act, but less decisive in his commitment. Hope that helps.
On another front, I may have found a student to resurrect the UVU Green Club. He seems really interested and motivated. He's going to be checking on the issues of how these things are set up and will get back to me.
Dani - I apologize for my late response to your communication. I would be pleased to help you and the Pickens Plan if I can. Feel free to email me at sesexton@vocgen.com or call (520) 309-5989. We can discuss what you have in mind to assist in moving things forward.
The Fair is advertised in the website. I would like to have a table so I can lay out "MY" plan which is entirely consistent with the Picken's plan to achieve Energy Independence
Dani, this is a follow-up on my visit to Chaffetz's office. I didn't have time to organize a rally, but I did write as letter encouraging him to strengthen the provisions of the bill and to vote in favor of it. I got about 12-14 signatures on the bill besides my own, then I took it into his office and met with his aide. I also got a call from his DC aide who told me that he was opposing the bill, but that he appreciated my input. Maybe it's a start.....

Dani,
I was talking to Keath Beafus of Vroom who I met at the AZ WWG meeting earlier this year and he told me you would be the key contact to see if T. Boone Pickens would like to visit and conduct a town hall meeting at our tower plant in Fontana, CA. I originally contacted Geoff Bailey and ask when the next town hall meeting was and then just happened to be that weekend on the USS Midway. I did meet Mr. Pickens and it was great ventune and turnout. I was made aware that Mr. Pickens lives part time in Del Mar which is most likely one hour commute to Fontana. Geoff asked if I would be interested in hosting a town hall meeting and I needed to send invitation to Mr. Pickens. What am I getting myself into and what are the requirements of Ameron? Can you assist me if I goig to sell this management. PAT
Hi Dani, Great to hear from you and happy to hear goo people are getting involved. PleASE PASS MY NAME onto anyone yo feel will be helpful. Talk with you soon. Bill
I live in Fountain Hills AZ. I strongly believe that we must find a solution to imported oil. I have an idea that can really help, but it needs to be heard.
We can store wind energy in the form of gasoline, diesel fuel, methanol, or other hydrocarbons. The raw materials are essentially free.
It is technically feasible and proven that we can make gasoline from CO2 and Hydrogen. Coal fired power plants will pay us to take the CO2. The hydrogen can be formed from waste water by using electricity to perform electrolysis. If we used excess wind energy to produce the electricity, it would give us a way to enhance the profitability of wind power generation.
Los Alamos National Laboratories, the people who brought us the H bomb, have developed a plan called Green Freedom. It describes exactly what I am telling you about, with the exception that they propose using nuclear power instead of wind power. This concept is not a pipe dream.
If you think this is something that the Pickens team should know about please help me find a way to contact them. my email address is billb at automotivetraveler.com Thanks!
