Hello. My name is Adam. I have been developing an incredible new design of windmill. This project is in jeopardy as my financial backer has defaulted and now relatively minor debts are becoming legal issues. This project holds the promise of reducing wind power costs by 1/2 and also providing large amounts for lower investments. These machines can be installed on existing wind farms to increase output on the same real estate as these machines utilize wind 100 ft & below. Also, I have termed ‘micro scale windfarms” as 8 to 25 acres sites surrounding the cities are more expedient to 1000 acre plus sites... I need help so I am reaching out.
We have new roof mounting residential wind turbine kits shipping now. They are sleek and attractive, well designed. These are actually a home appliance on the roof, much like an antennae or satellite dish. They are as easy to install as other home appliances, dishwasher, etc. It's a nice clean way for you to begin a personal energy plan. These systems are inexpensive, easy to install, scaleable.
Your Wind blows stronger in the winter, Your Sun shines stronger in the summer months. This hybrid wind/solar system combines these cycles to give a more even flow of energy year round. This homeowner sized wind/solar system provides free power for your home. Many customers have found it easy to become customer/dealers of our kits. Customers can become a dealer with no further investment, they see quickly how people are easy to get interested.
I have used the same systems save money on my electricity costs and Phil, you can too. Your local wind resources are so good in Oklahoma. Have a look at these windmaps and see can you pinpoint what number your area is in. Zone 2 is OK, anything over 2 is (very) good. First double check your wind resources from the map and links below.
I could use the internal email system, but this pertains to all Oklahomans. You realize like I do that the state needs direction and goals to achieve in this Plan. I would like to know how you perceive this to come about, and are you open to a state wide meeting this fall? I think by then we will have several areas in position to take good action in their communities. Fall is just next month, so consider how much time you can spend on this.
Lexi Fish will coordinate us in the way she sees fit, but we still have our own groups and no one is getting left out. Is there a way to white board these issues, and do we need to have a live chat online available for all Oklahomans? It might be a means to really concentrate the organization and find those willing to spend time doing the difficult things that are mundane and repetitive.
Your organization of Tulsa and NE Oklahoma are really the focal group along with the Cowboy group from Stillwater. In Oklahoma City there are hundreds of potential members, but it will take a full-time effort to get even a dent in the population, because each day they are somewhere else. That is why Oklahoma City needs to be a test case for improving the use of alternative energy sources. Our mayor favors wind energy, but is uneducated about the advantages of Solar energy and does not want to hear about it. Perhaps the messenger needs to wear a 10 gallon hat and talk like a Texas Billionaire? Anyway, our city is more spread out than Tulsa or Stillwater. So, distance and cost per vehicle is higher here. CNG is the right fit for our city, but solar can revolutionize our area in so many not realized ways.
OK, So, what is your idea and perception of organizing the state, and when will a state meeting be possible or viable? Could it be online and in person together? Would we use Skype or some messaging service for a fee? Would the leaders agree to that expense? And what do we want to accomplish at a state meeting? Lots of questions, so little time. Night! Dear Phil Preston
I just send this letter to Mr. Pickens.
What do you think about it?
Best,
Edward
Dear Mr. Pickens,
What a journey! You have so many people behind you and you deserve it. Your ability to to mobilize Americans for one purpose - stopping the addiction to foreign oil - is remarkable.
The internet site, the TV appearances, the Washington trips, the Town Meetings, Ask Boone etc.. I don't know how you do it.
You are an inspiration to all Americans, and now, even overseas to the citizens of the planet.
I had the idea - since America is the land of movies, TV shows, and advertising in general, and since we have most of the Steven Spielbergs of the creative world right here - that maybe you should think to start a contest. Once a month you could select the best produced commercial to use in your campaign.
Among all the hundreds of homemade and professional videos, audio spots, print ads, and cartoons you would receive, you could reward the authors with a photo opportunity with you every three months and a "Yes, I Can" Award (an Oscar Hollywood style Webcast, of course). If you give the people the chance to tell everyone what they like best about you, the Plan, why we should have alternative energy now and how one person can make a difference, their testimonies will move the world.
So, before you know it - at home, at work, at school, in retirement homes, in youth centers, on military bases, even overseas - thousands of citizens of all ages will start to compete for the "PickensPlanet I CAN" Award. In doing so, they will involve everyone around them. It will be contagious. For example, teachers will start competition projects in class on how to best communicate the need for alternative energy and will send you the class winner's ideas, thereby creating even more awareness.
If you watch the video below from Enduron in Germany that obtained the "Oscar" at the Cannes Film Festival last year, you may consider that perhaps this year Texas will host in Dallas the International "I CAN" Festival. I posted this idea on your site in my group, " The International Group from PickensPlanet."
Thank you from all of us who believe in you.
I was unable to make it on Saturday due to family obligations. I am very interested in meeting with your group. Please let me know when the next meeting is scheduled.
Phil,
Have you seen any specific calls to action that an individual or a small group in a town can do together? Other than the house party in which case many of us are getting sidetracked on tangents about our local problems.....
For instance, there is a home here in Atlanta in a historic community. The owners have erected a wind turbine 40ft tall. Well, that just got a bunch or people all mad. Who wants an unsighty turbine in a historic neighborhood. Well, this is doing nothing to advance the Pickens Plan solution. You and your community are involved with YOUR projects and so forth. So energy and efforts are getting fragmented with the lack of specific direction for the Pickens Plan.
I want to see specifics. Otherwise this fervor will dissapate.

Hi Phil ....just a side note.....Try to get access to a local disc jokey or radio personality who will agree to ask listeners if they have heard of the PLAN . .....this grabs people in their vehicles... probably in pain over their morning fill up. Also see if they can include a link on their website for the PLAN so listeners can find out more info. I'm trying it here tomorrow...............
Hi Phil...Just had a chance to see your message from yesterday...Sorry for the delay.
I have had the opportunity of assisting a few grass root efforts in the past and the key element is "inclusion". Whether it is a senior giving $2 or a corporation offering support in principle, a piece of ownership is implied. This piece of ownership is critical to the success of any grass roots initiative......you and I examples ...we both have "ownership" in The PLAN along with thousands of others and the momentum is growing.
To grow the PLAN, the next "inclusion" must begin. The core membership will backfill nicely as the word spreads. Monitoring is needed, but not management. The next focus should begin in parallel with membership growth. Prospecting for inclusion at community, county and municipal levels would be a start......Rotary Clubs, Legions, PTA , Athletic Clubs etc. Inclusion migrates to groups rather than individuals and network marketing begins at association levels................it's like compound interest at a finance company...it GROWS and GROWS.
Let's face it, some people will pay whatever they are asked to pay for gas......the message must be taken to them. Hold some information sessions at local organizations and empower them to carry the message to their peers. You will get jeers mixed with the praises, but the message will travel like the ripples from a pebble dropped in a lake.
Unfortunately, there are only 15 Canadian members in the PLAN. We are working on that!!!!!!
Good Luck and let me know how the meeting goes.....wish I was there.
Help us spread the word about http://newghas.com. We can have 0 emission, renewable energy produced, $1.95 per gallon eqv hydrogen fuel for everyone. Participate and spread the word.
Bruce,
Thanks for the note. Boone's initiative will take a lot of focus on helping people see out of the box. We all have our biases and pet solutions, and as I see it, the challenge will be to coalesce effort around this solution. There are a lot of others, such as hydrogen, that should go along in parallel. Keep me posted on your progress at facilitating groups around this plan. I will do the same here in Oklahoma. Good luck.
Phil,
The PickensPlan to transition vehicles to natural gas is a great start toward 100% energy independence. ETT implementation will accelerate reaching the goal faster than any alternative fuel scheme. Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT)™ is patented transportation technology that can accomplish 50 times more transportation per kWh than electric cars or trains, it is cleaner, lower cost, safer, faster, and electric (so it can use Pickens wind power or PV to it's highest and best use). See www.et3.com for more info, or contact Daryl Oster at et3[at symbol]et3[dot symbol]com , *352*257*1310* Crystal River FL 34423-1423
Hope you've looked into the Solar arena too. Oklahoma needs us now! But more than for building business, we really should be building the educational processes that will fuel more demand for the products that can give Oklahomans real fuel freedom. True, we may be dependent on fuels for cars for some time, but we do not have to pay anyone for solar energy if we own it. I hope you will look at my photos and see my commentaries on solar when you have some time! Thanks for letting me be a friend.
Phil, thanks for the invitation to the Tulsa event at Panera on the 26th. I plan on making it and yes I'd be glad to speak for 10-15 minutes on CNG as an automotive fuel. In fact, I'll be driving my NGV to the meeting, so anyone can check it out afterwards of they'd like. I've driven only CNG-powered vehicles since August '07. I saw a piece on the evening news about CNG vehicles over a year ago and took immediate action to figure out how to get in the CNG game because I was sick of paying ludicrous prices for gasoline. I went from driving a V-8 SUV to a 4 cylinder natural gas Honda Civic and have since greened one thing after another in my personal life. I'm excited to learn more. Thanks again.
My concerns are many, but I mainly just want to do whatever I can to assist with getting this plan heard. I'll be at Panera and should be able to come early for lunch. I look forward to meeting all of you. Let's get in gear and be productive! Please feel free to contact me if I can help you with anything...emails, calls, organizational issues. I'm here to help.
