Then the capacity - how much cargo and how many people can we transport? What could be the capital cost for 1000 mile route and what will be the recurring costs? Prima facie the results may be estimated and analyzed for investors to get interested. The financial viability is what the business will look for and the total energy consumption and how much we conserve will be factors for the governments to get interested. Capital cost indirectly quantifies the energy component that has gone into creating the system and in my reckoning, the SIemens' maglev demonstrates the exorbitant capital cost for the guidance system. The vacuum helps in cutting down the air resistance which is substantial at very high speeds but maintenance of vacuum costs energy. generally whenever you have to make things which do not exist naturally , we have to fight the nature and that costs in energy terms. So long as we are in flow with nature we conserve.

Patents do not give the sales pitch for a product. The patents that I have are useless. Exciting to obtain, tho.

My best friend invented C-MOS while at Fairchild. He never made a dime from it. He has 15 other patents and they are a real expense to carry. Plus you wonder if they have value?

Railroads are efficient, too. Maybe one gallon of fuel for 400 miles of payload?

It takes energy to evacuate, energy to move the object, and energy to get people together to start and finish a project like you envision.

Solar energy in many of its forms is great, except for efficiency. It is not yet as effective in producing energy as old fashioned coal. Until it is more efficient or has some cost advantage over nuclear or coal, it will not work.

Why not start with electric energy from fission?

This is my first question. Your answer will determine whether or not your interests are real in my mind.

Let me know, please. Also how about a internet hook on evacuated transport. Your blurb is great but not technical.

Ground source energy is a way of extracting energy efficiently from the ground by using a heat pump. It can reduce home and business heating and cooling costs substantially. Enough to change the US energy equation significantly. Go to Oregon Insitute of Technology or GOOGLE it.

Very impressive line of work! I had read about the efficiency gained form evacuatrd tube transport and an happy to discover you are implementing a variant of this system.
Interstate highway systems could sport tubes running between the lanes for commercial freight transport. Commuter busses between cities could take the place of air travel. The commute from suburb to work would also be an excellent application.
How far along on the implementation have you taken this?
