Hello,
We have not met yet. But you may have heard of a non-profit community organization that I am affiliated with here in Placerville? We are Residents Involved in Positive Planning, Inc. RIPP, Inc.
You may have heard of us through El Dorado Counties plan to move the Dump/MRF to Missouri Flat Road.
My name is Mike Mueller and I also live in Placerville. I am also a member of the PickensPlan and am concerned about this nation and its energy use.
That is why I thought to contact you today. As it has happened in our attempt to stop the MRF relocation to Missouri Flat Rd. It has come to our attention that El Dorado County is not at all taking advantage of the Alternative Energy potential and assets that we have from our garbage. Or all the methane potential of the old Union Mine landfill site. And others.
I am inviting you to become informed and involved in your own town and RIPP, Inc. as we assist El Dorado County in making the most of its assets.
We have made some great progress thus far and have many supporters in the area and are always looking to educate and encourage participation.
Please call me at 530-406-9025 or email me at: mikemue2@comcast.net
Thank you for your concern,
Michael Mueller, RCDD,DCCA

Jeff,
Thank you - I will be calling you soon.
I think the situation is very simular - you might check out the site and get a look at the main building on the campus... www.hendrickhome.com.
Thank you so much.
ITs great that Boone Pickens - and his endevor - is helping so many people, and the environment too!

Hi Jeff
We now have a RED "CONTACT CONGRESS" BUTTON on the main page, top right. Fill out the standard form and the letter is sent to YOUR Governor and Washington Representatives! Easy breezy. Perfect timing considering the energy bill is coming up. We must beat back the lobbyists!
Hi Jeff, I would like to know what training/education you need to become an energy consultant? And what companies in Northern CA are looking for consultants? Is there a demand for your skills around the Bay Area...or North in the Sonoma/Modesto area? Thanks for any feedback.

Saturday, July 26 from 7 - 9 P.M.
Hey Jeff,
I live in an apartment (so solar panels, wind turbines, tankless waterheaters, etc. are out), I cant afford a new car (although when I can it'll be a more efficient one), I'm a professional musician (so taking public transportation to work is impossible... cant lug a drumset onto a train) and cant invest billions in a wind farm.
However, I've been researching and implementing other solutions. We all see hundreds of opportunities every day to simply use less energy (and therefore consume less oil)... These solutions have side benefits... a lower electric bill, higher gas mileage, and a healthier lifestyle... I posted a blog on the subject here http://push.pickensplan.com/forum/topic/show?id=2187034%3ATopic%3A193424 if you have a minute, check it out, and let me know what you think.
Hi Jeff, thanks for looking me up. I too want to spread the news about renewable energy. I have many a photo to up load when I figure out how to do that. In my picture, I am standing next to a pair of dual axis tracking arrays totaling 4,500Wp running a 2kW ERP, 20W ERP, and 5W ERP FM stations. All off grid with a web can, real time telemetry, data logging. The entire system was designed and maintained by me. I have a 1 kW PV system on my shed at home; still saving to buy an Outback Grid Tie inverter to go with the 48V battery plant.
Would you mind telling me the $ invested?
I'm curious about the initial cost and how to obtain discounts or gov. incentives. I think for me in PA, I currently only have federal dollars available in the form of a tax break. It is not much of an incentive. However, a $35 a month bill is pretty good. If you have lower usage does your utility pay you for spinning your meter backwards??
Hey Jeff - how's it going? Yep, I am starting a small company in Reno - this is what I have been working on for the last few years, decided it was the right time for me to make the jump. Mostly I am doing consulting right now but may start installing systems later this year - How's your world?

Thanks for the note. What kind of panels did you get? I am talking about which manufacturer.
