Hello. My name is Adam. I have been developing an incredible new design of windmill. This project is in jeopardy as my financial backer has defaulted and now relatively minor debts are becoming legal issues. This project holds the promise of reducing wind power costs by 1/2 and also providing large amounts for lower investments. Also these machines can be installed on existing wind farms to increase output on the same real estate as these machines utilize wind 100 ft & below. I need help so I am reaching out.
I have a page on pickensplan.com search Adam27 & there is much illustration & picture info. fadam91@yahoo.com
Ray dear friend:
It has to do with me your panel of Modern History between our worlds, so alike and distant, too.
Greetings from Granada. Spain.
Marcell.
I have found that petitons are the best way to spread the word AND sign up supporters.
Here is HOW TO TURN THE PLEDGE INTO A PETITION!
I find it easiest to take one pledge, cut off Boone's lines under the pledge and add a sheet of lined paper under the pledge instead. I put NAME - ADDRESS - EMAIL across the top and fill in the first line to set the format. Most are more willing to sign where others have already done so, rather than the single pledge at a time approach. Everyone understands a petition.
I ask if they would "sign this petition in support of T, Boone Pickens energy plan to get us off of foreign oil?" Hand them the clipboard so they can read it. I do not require the signers to give me their email if they are reticent - don't let that be a deal breaker - some just do not want to give it.
Check out the 100CLUB group page to see how others have accomplished the task. (it is the first goup on my page) When you send/fax in 100, let me know, we will gladlyinvite you to be a member of the 100CLUB. Your leadership on this will inspire thousands!
There are over 150 people in the pledge challenge that I know of right now. Surely, there are many more that I am unaware of, as it is in many greetings. Those 150 willl bring 15,000 new members. If each brings just 5 friends, these 150 will be responsible for 75,000 new members.
This is the approach that works best for me - I tried many. Hopefully, this will encourage you to take the challenge, too. CAN YOU HELP?
When will we ever have a golden opportunity like this again?
great! my husband is the one that does the computer side of solar feeds, so when you have something you want published, send it over to sweitzman@gmail.com - do u have a website or blog? For all of the contributors, we set up a bio page with info, links, etc. thanks so much
Some interesting information....... U.S. Geological Service
GOOGLE it or follow this link. Be sure to listen to the Podcast on the page. It will blow your mind: http://www.usgs.gov/newsroom/article.asp?ID=1911
The U.S. Geological Service issued a report in April ('08) that only scientists and oilmen knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since '95) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota; western South Dakota; and extreme eastern Montana ... check THIS out:
The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska's Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.
'When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.' says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.
'This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years,' reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a formation known as the Williston Basin, but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.' And it stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada. For years, U.S.oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough ha s opened up the Bakken's massive reserves...and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!
That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 41 years straight.
2. [And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - because it's from TWO YEARS AGO, people!]
U.S.Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World! Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006 hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction.
They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official estimates:
8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
18-times as much oil as Iraq
21-times as much oil as Kuwait
22-times as much oil as Iran
500-times as much oil as Yemen, and it's all right here in the Western United States.
HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this!?
James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels. Untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.

Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think again! It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to.

I will be attending the Green jobs now event set for tomarrow. Is that the event you are refering to?
You must be busy. So, I won't take much of your time.
We live in the freest country in the world. And yet, there is information not being broadcast to the American public about all the 2008 presidential candidates. Where is the information about Bob Barr and Ralph Nader? They are running for president too. Not everyone will agree on their policies or plans of action for our country, but we find that the other candidates that are so profoundly broadcast and their running mates also have their share of discrepancies with the American voters. It is our duty to be informed to the best of our ability as voters. Doing research on all of the candidates is time consuming and made difficult when they are not part of the public “Dog and Pony Shows” also know as debates. Are we being denied information; or are these not so known candidates being denied their right to speech in the freest of countries? The policy to include only the best fundraising candidates makes me question their integrity. I do not want a superstar with some subliminal message of change and freedom to lead my country. I want to see a president that is not afraid to debate with all parties for election. Was it The League of Women Voters that called your corporatized debates devoid of substance, spontaneity, and honest answers to tough questions?
So please drop your exclusionary restrictions, and let all of the 2008 presidential candidates into the debates. It will be good for your conscience, good for the American people, and good for democracy. Let the American people have a real debate for once.
