Good Luck Man! I live in Michigan I'll watch out for you all! Also if you can swing it stop in Texas and pick up Ted Nugget and get him on the tour with you. SEE YA!
Hi Jeff, thanks for the ADD and welcome to the Musicians and Performers for a Better Future on PickensPlan! I hope we get a chance to gig together. If you get a show and need performers, let me know. I really want us to make some noise. Pat Jack is the brainiac behind group and T. Boone Pickens is the catylist. I say Pickens, you say Plan, Pickens...Pickens...
Hi Jeff,
I think a concert would be a great idea. to make awareness and possibly hand out flyers at the end with websites to go to get on board with Pickensplan fight. Or direct all ettendees to your website with a link to Pickens Plan. If I have enough notice maybe I'll come to California and check out your concert. You have a nice voice if that is you on Youtube.
I would post you event on this website and challenge pp to get involved via voice at the beginning of the concert or something
Jeff, thanks for making the effort to make a difference! When you have details regarding your Carbon Zero tour let me know. I have connections down here in S. Florida with Clearchannel Radio and Florida Public Utilities a natural gas supplier and energy provider here in Florida. I should be able to help you get the message out and maybe get additional green energy sponsors for your tour.
Keep up the good works and I look forward to seeing the show! Have a great day and GO GREEN!
Thanks for the add, and if there's anything I can help with please feel free to get ahold of me here, and I will see what I can do,ok. Good luck on the tour it sounds like something that will go over well.
Don't know how you came across me, but I may be able to help you on the carbon tour. I used to run my own sound and lighting company a few years back, and still have lots of contacts for venues, booking, etc. in the Lincoln, NE area, including rock-solid ties to the World Famous The Zoo Bar, the longest running blues bar in the US in the same location - 35 years and going strong - venue for the legends; B.B. King, Luther Allison, Koko Taylor, Etta James, Stevie Ray and Jimmy Vaughn, Elvin Bishop, Robert Cray, Indigenous, Coco Montoya, E.C. Scott, Albert King, Magic Slim, Martha Reeves are just some of the artists I've seen perform on stage there. If you get the tour up and going, Lincoln has a strong alternate scene. I used to do sound for 311 when they were just a local band doing the Omaha-Lincoln scene. The lead for Maroon 5, well, I used to do sound for his first band, Happy Dog, and his second, Square, on open stage nights ten years ago.
Hello Jeff and welcome to the Pickens Plan. My name is Luis Garcia and I've been an active member from the beginning. If there is anything I can do to help just ask.
Please congratulate Karen Nardella for being invited to the 100CLUB - for faxing/sendng in more than 100 signed pledges. She is a Picken's hero! Her story is on the 100CLUB Group page - read how she accomplished it!

Would like to hear how you are doing with the pledge push?
You have been doing some great work here on this site. I’ve been hearing some great stuff about your work. Welcome and thanks.
I have heard of you through my son D J Richard Blake (Dallas, TX). He ha s spoken of you and your association with Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins and your Hot Summer Nights at the Playboy Mansion in LA benefiting the United Breast Cancer Foundation.
Anyway, because I am Blake’s Mother, he says it is “so not cool” that I try and talk music with others in “his” industry. I understand. He is close to a number of really hot Texas based groups / artists – Slim Thug, Play n Skillz and Big Red Rooster to name a few. I share that to say this, I think that you two need to connect somehow. My son attends the Winter Music Festival in the spring of each year in South Florida, which he usually plays for someone and I know that he and his posse could become a nice piece for this effort.
Perhaps you could hit him up on his My Space and chat. He is all up in the middle of it at Big D’s hottest spots – Lift, Club Joyce, Dolce, and Ghost Bar - Dallas. He stays in touch with D J AM and a host of others across the nation.
Jeff, I am an old timer on the site, Tai sent me your way, I am putting together quite an event here in Atlanta, please check it out, I am dubbing it the Woodstock of Alternative Energy! Check out my page or go to events and I have it listed as Americans for Alternative Energy, Also, have a group set up for the organization, had a meeting last night and it is looking really good, short time line, October 25th, but it is perfect timing to get some publicity. Thanks for your time and consideration! Have a Windy Day! Sam
Hi Jeff,
That is so exciting to hear about your tour and that you are promoting Pickens Plan too. Will it be hard to find the right transportation that uses alternate fuels?

Don't hesitate to message me here or elsewhere if you'd like me to promote what you're doing in any way, shape or form.

Great to hear that you've got Chesapeake as a sponsor for the CarbonZero tour. Hope you are able to get something going with the "Plan".

Okay, you have a great evening and maybe we will keep in touch. Keep up the great work.
Above is a photo for one of their new soundtracks and my son is the one on the right. Stage name - Midnight Marauders.
Yes, I am old enough to have a 25 year old son. He is very talented too. Formal education – Licensed Audio Engineer…and much more.
