Hi Robert

It has been a while since we kept in touch last!

We are now over 1.2 million suporters. We will need many more if we are to beat back the damn lobbyists and special interests. Can you help with the pledges? Every American needs to sign on. With pledges we can fan out and reach so many. It is an easy ask- Boone has done the hard work. I was able to get 300 signed in the first 4 days - everyone wants to to get off of foreign oil. We may never have a golden opportunity like this again!
ARE YOU IN?

Best
Kim

Hey Robert!

We need your help with the Pledge Push! We can only get this plan done with HUGE numbers. Please download some pledges, get them signed and fax them back to the 888# at the bottom of the page. We eat the apple one bite at a time. Collect a few every day, and in no time you will have 100. We would be thrilled to have you in the 100CLUB. ARE YOU IN?

Please get your elected leaders to sign, as well. A two pronged offense can not fail!

Best
Kim

Also, please congratulate Karen Nardella and Craig Savage for completing the task! You should read how they did it on the 100CLUB GROUP page - http://push.pickensplan.com/group/100pledgeclub

Hello...

My name is Luis Garcia and I live in the Virginia Appalachian Mountains. I'm originally from South Florida but moved here 5 years ago for a slower paced life. Working from home helps! Welcome to the community. You're in the right place if you're passionate about alternative energy ideas and helping Americans sober up from Black Gold (Oil)

Might have some ideas for you. I am trying to get a mfr. to locate in NW Ohio and take advantage of the Third Frontier. Also working with Hocking College, a major RE institute. I am developing a wind farm in the Caribbean which looks like will get funded

Robert,
Thanks for the comment. If I can find the right financial/management person/people, it shouldn't take very long to get the R&D done and these products on the market.
How long it takes will be directly related to how much capital can be invested in it and how quickly.
This is really a simple machine. In fact, if it had any fewer moving parts, you couldn't call it a machine. The turbine(s), shaft, flywheel, cooling fan, generator rotor and magnetic bearing rotors are all directly connected. No gears, no feathering devices, no generator brushes.
Considering that way back in the 1950's & 60's, with no computers, just slide-rules and chalkboards, the Lockheed "Skunk Works" brought the most-amazing aircraft ever built, the SR 71 "Black Bird" from the drawing board to the airways in 18 months!
So probably the most time-intensive part of the process will be finding the money, scientists, engineers, technicians, and management people to get the job done.
I'll be glad to put you on the customer list. If you know anybody with the resources and business know-how to help me out, who wants to take a chance, possibly make a lot of money, and make wind power lots more practical and efficient, tell them about my inventions.
Thanks again.

Robert,
I don't know the answer to the "Wind Tree" question, because, as far as I know, they never said anything about how it was actually supposed to work. Nor did I ever see any patents they had or the technology behind what, as far as I can tell, was a fictional product. My design has three U.S. patents and two foreign patents, and is based on sound physical fluid-dynamic principals.
My impression is that the "Wind Tree" deal was just another "multi-level" pyramid scheme.
If you would like to see my basic patent, it is U.S. Utility Patent # 6,518,680. The end product continuation patent is U.S. Utility patent # 6,800,955. That would be a good place to start to research the principles behind my stationary wind power system.
A lot of R&D remains to be done to make this a line of commercial products, but there is little chance that it isn't a quantum leap in wind-energy conversion technology, if only because it is silent, vibration-free contains built-in short-term energy storage, in the form of my patented "EZ tach"(tm) flywheel, and can function on stored energy in the form of compressed air. Wind farm towers could easily be turned into handy compressed-air tanks.
You can access my patents at www.uspto.gov/. unlike most patents they are mostly in plain English, because I collaborated closely with the patent attorney in drafting them.
This technology solves almost all of the problems with conventional wind-power devices. It cannot harm surrounding structures or population, because if you get a huge gust of wind that shatters the turbine (highly unlikely) the pieces of the turbine just fall out the bottom of the machine, and after the storm, you go and replace it. Unlike conventional propeller-style wind energy conversion devices (I call them WinDinosaurs), the WinDynamo(tm) could have continued to generate electricity until the moment that the structural failure occured.
WinDinosaurs operate in a very narrow range of windspeeds (7-45 MPH), and should one of the propeller blades break off in a gale..... well, that's one of the reasons wind farms need to be in remote locations.
Environmentalists' main objections to wind power are that it can kill flying critters like birds & bats, and its visual intrusiveness. WinDynamo solves those issues, too, and many others.
If the patents aren't enough info for you, there's LOTS more. Stay in touch.
