Hi David,

I hear you. I am originally from the northeast and I am worried about this winter and the cost of heating oil. It wasn't long ago that the price of heating oil caused deaths there. The embarassing part was that Hugo Chavez saved the day. Now, I have met the man and I know darned well he was just trying to embarass our government. But still, the government was nowhere to be found when it started to happen.

My plan is to get PSI started and then spread it across the nation. If sponsors can be found quickly, I have no problem doing this sooner than later.

Do you think they would debate? Even though their emphasis is different (trade imbalance vs. environment), I think they actually agree in many cases.
Actualy, I am glad to see a truly nonpartisan issue for a change. The political atmosphee has gotten too personal and its stifling real progress.

David, thank you for the add! I am a fan of your idea to have a Gore vs. Pickens Main Event! I would definitely be in attendance and know several others that would be inclined to be there as well.

Assuming the average wind speeds are 8 m/sec or about 18 MPH, the you should have a capacity factor of about 40%. The means if system is 25 kW generator, the annual production would be 25*.40*24*365 ( 24 hours and 365 days) in would in kilowatt hours. Remember the capacity figure jumps significantly as the wind speeds goes up. Generally, speaking if you go up one meter/sec you can expect 3 time more power produced.

Sure -- when do you think you will return to Indiana for a visit? Maybe we could hook up.

I am presently living in Pearland TX (greater Houston). My wife is from the Houston area. We plan to leave Houston and most likely move to Indianapolis area after she finishes residency in neurology here in Houston.

I really would like to show you this wind converter technology. Are you willing to sign an NDA?

Regards,

Jon

These blimps will hoover around 200 to 800 meters high (1800) Lke all wind turbine, it depends upon the wind resources on how power will generate. Wind resources change at height in which we are talking about. See the above pictures. The wind resources maps of Ontario Canada were prepared by National Weather Service of Canada. What is quite remarkable is the difference in wind resource at 30 meters high and 550 meters high ( about 1800 feet). They expect to start shipping products in 2010 according to the company. There are several new HAWT ventures. Our venture is more modest. We just want to install them, owe them and reant of lease them out using our usage fee arrangement with our automated stowing system and get the FAA approvals. We have applied for the first site in Oregon with the FAA to get the waiver,.

Mr. David Scott Coker,

I am a native of Huntingburg Indiana, just east of Evansville on I64. I am glad to find a fellow Hoosier here supporting Mr. Pickens. I would like to come to an event like you propose with the likes of Mr. Pickens and Al Gore.

I am also interested to know if you got a response from Mr. Pickens. I ask because I am in the early development stages of a wind energy converter technology that I project to be between 30 to 50% less costly per unit energy output than present wind energy converter (wind turbines).

I am interested in speaking with someone with the Picken's organization regarding evaluation and development of the technology.

Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Nord
