America Continues to Waste over 70% of the Energy it Consumes.
100's of millions of lights unnecessarily burn during the day and night, over heating and over cooling is the norm, over packaging, inadequate recycling, toxic landfills, horrendous road congestion, and our perverted obsession with road construction. Public and Private buildings, Schools, Churches, Homes, ... America's blatant energy waste and overuse is culturally pervasive, and abominable !
1- ONLY with a substantial and tangible economic reward/consequence will most Americans care to conserve.
Crude oil must be taxed at $200 per barrel and offset by making income tax begin at $60k.
Taxing energy is simple, fair, economically sound, and available TODAY.
2- The American auto industry must quickly transition to the 6.4 BILLION people reason$ to manufacture solar, wind, and other alternative energy producers. They already have the needed infrastructure. Every home and building in the world, could be using solar energy. We are fast running out of fossil fuels !
Humanity is racing toward extinction, via global warming, for our failure to stop our energy waste.
Taxing energy (in lieu of income taxes) is the ONLY incentive that will stop energy waste and cause renewable energy sources to be employed.

Invitation to join NW Renewable Energy Group
I have started a Regional group, welcoming comments, ideas, and suggestions for Renewable Energy in the NW Region. Including states from the Pacific, Cascade and Rocky Mountain areas. I realize that some of my Pickens Plan friends are outside this region, but you are always welcome to join and add your thoughts to the discussion. We should be looking at best available sources of energy in our region, and ways to improve the power grid to transfer energy from region to region as it is needed.
Does not matter when you brought on new supporters. It is hard work and it is appreciated. Thank you! Di dyou hit 100? Would still like to have you in the 100CLUB.

Are we planning on having District Meetings at all? I'm having a tough time understanding the value of being involved. Joined over a month ago and have seen nothing tangible other than group-speak emails requesting we send the party line to our reps and that we host an inauguration party. NOT A CRITICISM - simply a call to action.
It will dry up 17,000 acre of farmland on the arkansas river.In this area is a very strong wind zone.I think they should build wind turbines here.Fossil fuel some wear else

2. Gerry Kempen also has over 120 new supporters. I visited him today, at his very nice Liquor store, "Good Spirits" in Middletown, RI to thank him. Gerry's supporters put us over the top. RI-01 reached the 500 goal today - Inauguration Day. Yippee!

It may be something we don't know about yet, that's great..... but until then we need to get off oil and onto CNG NOW. We can, we own plenty. The only way to force these things is with grass roots efforts and BIG HUGE NUMBERS. WE need to give Bone a massive hammer. Every member needs to get on the phone, ask 5 people today, "will you support T Boone Pickens plan to get us off foreign oil and onto American solutions."

When I see our Government spending the amount of Money they have on a war in Iraq and the amount of recources they have used then 2015 seems too far off for the affordable Hydrogen Cars. Dont get me wrong, I firmly support our troops but I dont agree with the Political Agenda of the War in Iraq. Now it seems like we are trying to start a War with Iran. Where does it stop? I tend to believe that if enough of us fed up Americans, like 2/3rd's of us would get moving in the same direction we could make this happen sooner. I dont know if that is unreal expectations but when you think about how much it cost to move the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force to the county of Iraq and Wage War. How long did take, a month or two? Another of the biggest hurdles I see right here in this forum is there are so many people going in so many directions that it weakens the efforts Like T. Boone's plan. I think the word is Inflexibility, People get it in their minds that they know the best solution and they wont budge off their course. I am beginning to see why there are so many independant actions rather than a combined effort to make things happen. What I see is if we could just get the ball rolling in the right direction collectively you would see thousands of off shoots in the near future. I was called a Socialist for having this opinion in a post to another topic. I then asked the person accusing me of Socialism if the Hoover Dam was a Socialist Project. No reply was given.

I like what your saying. I believe in Hydrogen 100%. Our Planet is covered 3/4 in it. Why we haven't cornered the market is beyond me. Solar Cells in the Dessert, transforming salt water into Hydrogen. The plant that my Father worked at in Michigan has been making its own Hydrogen on site since 1962. They used the Hydrogen in the furnaces where they made Industrial Diamond Cutting Tools. We should be using hydrogen in Cars and Home applications. What are we waiting for? Probably our Government to tell us it ok to do it.

My life's goal is to have all residential property co-generating electricity in North America by 2025. Little know fact it's only 25% of entire North American Grid Consumption.
This is attainable we have the technology and the man-power.....

I am in negotiations with Roger Little of Spire Solar in Mass to build a 100mw manufacturing plant in Liberty County Ga.
My plan is simple mix Roger's little assembly line with RapidModular.com's walling panels to produce under one roof the
