We have not met yet. But you may have heard of a non-profit community organization that I am affiliated with here in Placerville? We are Residents Involved in Positive Planning, Inc. RIPP, Inc.
You may have heard of us through El Dorado Counties plan to move the Dump/MRF to Missouri Flat Road.
My name is Mike Mueller and I also live in Placerville. I am also a member of the PickensPlan and am concerned about this nation and its energy use.
That is why I thought to contact you today. As it has happened in our attempt to stop the MRF relocation to Missouri Flat Rd. It has come to our attention that El Dorado County is not at all taking advantage of the Alternative Energy potential and assets that we have from our garbage. Or all the methane potential of the old Union Mine landfill site. And others.
I am inviting you to become informed and involved in your own town and RIPP, Inc. as we assist El Dorado County in making the most of its assets.
We have made some great progress thus far and have many supporters in the area and are always looking to educate and encourage participation.

He's remembering back before the early '80's when our Government forced them to include public services as part of their license. I'm 71 and my mind occasionally drifts back to Edward R. Murrow, Huntly & Brinkley(sp), Etc. before "Television News" became strictly entertainment based on daily event's.
I think he should forgot NBC and get on to something relevant. If Obama get's in, maybe he will change the FCC rules back to what they were before the '80's. I hope...

On Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 7 - 9 P.M. at the Folsom, Ca., Round Table Pizza we will have our first meeting of many on what we as Americans can do to rid ourselves of Foreign Oil.

I will bring a video and PPT about PickensPlan and how we can create awareness and what we can do to grow.
