Hey Mark,

I noticed a posting on Lynn's page and wondered to what extent you are familiar with programming?

I want to appoligize for my part in our failed communications, We are all in this together, the only real solution is for all of US to work together. Fighting each other only makes US weaker. I am sorry.

I am looking for micro wind companies with a track record ( not easy to find ) that I can invest in, any leads would be greatly appreciated.
I have found one in N. Dakota
Promana ticker PSLU did a reverse split and its assets were taken over via a merger by Crownbutte Wind Power on July 31st 2008, Crownbutte board replaced Promana board July 31st 2008
Crownbutte completed a private placement Aug 1st 2008 to build, own
and operate an approved 200 megawatt wind project with 134 turbines in
southwestern North Dakota estimated cost to build $30,000,000.
Project value upon completion and before tax credits is $50,000,000.
CBWP has been consulting for and building wind power farms in North
Dakota since 1999.
Crownbutte Wind Power
111 5th Ave NE
Mandan, ND 58554
www.crownbutte.com
Stock in new entity is available ticker CBWP now.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Good Morning Mark,
Thank you for inviting me to your friends page. I would very much like to be more active with the Pickens Plan in helping to promote alternative energy sources.
Thank you as well for acknowledging my earlier thoughts on creating a co-op. I believe that a cooperative business is only a win-win situation for everyone involved.

By the way, I don't know if others are aware or not of this little factoid but I saw this on a television news program or 60 minutes?
some time late last year. Larry Hagman (yes, the t.v. personality) has solar panels set up in his California neighborhood with which he supplies electricity not only for his own use but he provides for several low income families around him. The electricity company in their neighborhood of course is having to reimburse him for the extra electricity he generates.
In principle, this is the same practice to how a co-op would operate.

hey mark thank you for your invitation to the group ...I been following the conversation for a few days, I really believe we can get this done …my partner is a financial advisor from NY and my lawyer can help on the formation of this new entity…please advise me where you are in the process.

Also I’m in contact with Brent Sherman who wrote the following (see below)…are you working together with Brent…please advice

Brent Sherman has sent you a message on PickensPlan.

Hello to my pickens friends. Welcome to all of you!!

We can all start funding of our own green project now.

Without having to be subject the the SEC, if we do it as a member based organization.

If 10% of Americans invest $5.00 each, we would have $150 Million to start. That would get us construction of two solar fields. Enough to power 33,000 homes. Our return on a $5.00 investment would be small, but just think how awesome it would be to be involved in the powering of 33,000 homes with green power.

We have just created a website:

www.americanenergyfreedom.com

We would like to use it as an investment portal that people can put their savings and investments into.

We need your help!!

We would like to guarantee that all investments would be secured in a trust and come under the oversight of Mr Pickens, and other leaders at his discretion.

We need help from other leaders to do the following:

1) We need an attorney to setup the Corporation and the Trust

2) A web designer / developer to setup the site for commercial /
membership use, so that the users can:

a. Invest online using their credit cards / bank accounts b. Login as members c. See instant reports as to their return on investment d. See latest news at to where we are going with their investments e. Give the investor a few options to choos from (eventually), ie, wind, solar, land

3) Marketing Executive to work with Mr. Pickens people to see if they will allow us to work with him to advertise it through the pickensplan.com site.

4) An administrator / investment manager that can keep track of member investments, and automate the reporting of return of investment to investors.

5) A purchaser with a keen eye for properties of 1000+ acres that can be purchase for less than $500 / acre.

6) A business plan consultant, so that we have a solid busines plan.

In the interest of keeping things simple, all time and cost investments from leaders in this project would need to be donated, and would have no monetary value. Obviously, initial direct financial investments would have a monetary value, and being at the ground floor of such an enterprise would be huge.

At some point, we would like to get some companies involved that would help these green investements to grow, such as:

Solar Investments - A solar subsidary of Goldman Sachs

Also, we could start by using the money to purchase 1000 acre plots of land at the lowest possible prices, and use them to negotiate with the developers, eventually reaping the returns from energy produced.

The idea is to pool as many people as possible thru the internet to allow them to invest in the future of a green America.

I'm an entrepeneur, and I am the accountant for LP Daniel construction, the contractor for solar field developer Bethel Energy LLC of Alpine, CA.
