Comment by Sandy Triefenbach on August 27, 2009 at 9:41pm: Gas is $2,74 today which is much lower than the $14 it was a year or so ago. I have wriyyen my congressional delegation asking them to pass the Nat Gas Act of 2009 so, the Truckers and fleet vehicles can get the necessary govt help they need to move from imported oil to US Gas. I suggest that we all send them another letter before Sept 6th. Let them know that this in the countries National Interest.

If a back garage mechanic could rig his car to run on natural gas why have we waited for 40 years to finally divert some of our energy dependance from the oil producing countries? Where were the leaders?

Comment by Joe Lyles on August 31, 2009 at 3:25pm: This time last year, diesal pricing was higher than gasoline. Now diesal pricing is at or below gasiline pricing. WHY????? The big oil and gas companies want to derail the "Pickin Plan" We must get control of our country again. Exxon Moble etc., are making BILLIONS off of imported oil. Exxon Moble etc., control pump pricing and the oil company lobby control most of congress. WE MUST TAKE BACK CONTROL OF OUR COUNTRY. BACK BOONE. Joe Lyles Aledo, Tx
