Its obvious that many politicians just dont get it....They think drilling for oil,and building nuke plants are still the answer....We need to use the people to enlighten ALL the people.Oil is no longer the answer.In the time it takes to find and drill for oil,we can be years ahead of the grid with cleaner safer alternatives.McCain wants 44 new nuke plants...ok..Ive heard it takes 4 years to plan each plant,4 years to build each plant...and who wants a nuke plant in their back yard.If its so safe,why do we worry.And when the nuclear waste is needing removal from these so called 44 safe nuke facilities,where do we now store this waste...In your back yard..certainly I dont want it in mine.We have only one realistic alternative here,,safe clear efficient solar,wind, and hydro electrical sources.We are in the 21st century now...lets behave and utilize the technology we have to act like we are as well

Great production Kathy Lee!
The Japanese built a huge nuke facility- multiple plants- on an earthquake fault. Soon after
it opened an earthquake took it all offline. Over a year later it is still offline. Their taxpayers
are sucking up the expense of this failure! The French had to take some of their nukes
offline during their summer heatwave to keep the overheated cooling water from cooking
the fish where it was discharged. Private industry won't touch nuclear, it is too
risky and expensive. In contrast, with wind, community colleges are ramping up to train
wind technicians. They are in such demand industry is snatching many of them up before
they graduate the programs! We don't need government to pay for and subsidize wind
turbine development, just clear out the corridors of NIMBY to transmit their power.

We have a real source of energy in ourselves,
Why not to duplicate our natural and green method to release energy from the food and water. The most of our politicians are showing the interest of the big corps, like Westinghouse and GE. Senator Mc. Cain is following the rules of these big companies.
I ask to Senator Mc. Cain "Where will he dispose the radioactive waste materials?
We have the energy solution now. It is the time to start working.
