2009 Missouri Energy Summit

Join us April 22-23 in Columbia, Mo., as we bring together faculty and researchers, businesses, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists from across the state and beyond, along with federal and state agencies, to explore and showcase Missouri's cutting-edge research and development efforts in energy, alternative fuel sources, power, storage, infrastructure and enabling technologies. The summit will highlight our successes—and guide us on where we need to go in the future.

The summit promises to be a content-rich two days with national, state and local speakers, including T. Boone Pickens, a visionary in our nation’s future energy strategy. Registration and more information for the event is now available at www.missourisummits.com.

Please Note:

Thank you for your registration to the Missouri Energy Summit April 22-23 on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus. In order to facilitate your arrival to campus and expedite the check-in process, please take note of the following:

· Arrive early to allow plenty of time for check in. We are expecting a high number of registrants. If you are attending the T. Boone Pickens presentation and park in an offsite lot and take the shuttle—the best option for those who are driving—you should aim to be at the registration desk on campus no later than 10:00 a.m.

· Parking for the Missouri Energy Summit will be located on the east side of the Hearnes Center off Stadium Boulevard, with overflow parking at the Reactor Research Parking Lot.

· Make use of the free shuttle service to summit sites. Mizzou is a pedestrian campus, and specific Energy Summit parking near the venues is not possible. Shuttle buses will run to the Energy Summit every 20 minutes between 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Thursday. Pick up at the Hearnes Center will be located at the intersection of Mick Deaver Memorial Drive and Champions Drive. Pick up at Reactor Research Parking lot will be at the south end of the lot.

· Check-in for the summit will be held on the Carnahan Quad next to Reynolds Alumni Center. The shuttle service drop-off location is in close proximity.

· Please bring a copy of your email confirmation for ease of registration or in case of questions.
